Exterior Home or Structure - Paint or Stain: Medium
My project has taken 3.5 years and is still not done. Getting work out of them is like pulling teeth. This was a modest size residential project, painting the house and removing and reglazing all the windows in a ca. 1800 house. The only way I have gotten any work done by Scholar Painting is by threatening to go to a lawyer. We have gone through about 4 project managers as the project managers keep quitting and leaving the company. More than once my project was not passed on to a new project manager, leading to chaos and confusion and additional delays. On top of that Scholar Painting is in breach of contract: their own contract states they would work consecutive days once the project was started (allowing for weather, etc.). That has not happened, far from it. They are polite and seem mostly competent, but: they ended up painting the house twice, as the first time either they did not scrape enough or applied paint when it was too humid or cold and wet. This has been a nightmare.
