Terrible, 8/2020 P&S came out to remove and repave asphalt. Left me with puddle in my driveway. After many emails and phone calls they responded by saying they were going to stop and never came. It took them 1.5 years to come back and torch a canal in my driveway.

They did a great job and did everything they said they would in a timely fashion. We were very satisfied with the work.

The work was done very poorly and very fast, the ground should have settled first before they pour the asphalt on it, that is why the problems have occurred. I have a 2 year warranty which they are trying to run time out so they will not be responsible. In order to correct the driveway, I was told it has to be picked up and I will have patchwork, if I wanted patchwork, I could have kept my old driveway. I paid a good amount of money to have a new driveway, which now looks worst then my old one. I tried to put a picture but the site is not accepting it. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

My original driveway lasted about 30 years. This new one is on its way out already after 4 years. When the paving was complete, I brought to their attention that a large area was uneven and the stones were loose. I was told that it was the asphalt supplier not the installation and that by spring time it would settle down. Since I had a 2 year warranty I wasn't too concerned. In the spring of 2014 I noticed several cracks and the asphalt was loose in spots. I called about this and the loose stones that were getting worse. They denied any responsibility. Told me that cars/trucks were driving too close to the edge! Also the asphalt mix was to blame for the loose stones. So much for the 2 year warranty. Now there are more cracks and more loose stones. Looks like I will be replacing it well before the expected lifespan.

P&S was running a few days behind schedule but they called to let me know. One crew arrived to remove the driveway and install the base. They also delivered several truckloads of stone to fill a low area on the side of my driveway. Driveway and walkway was around 2500 sq ft. The following day the paving crew completed the job. Both crews did an excellent job and I'm very pleased with the finished product. Price was $1000 less than the other estimates I received.
The sales rep gave me a long list of driveways in my area that I could check out and several of my neighbors have used them in the past so I was confident that they would do a good job.

I hired this company for the removal of a very old blacktop driveway and to pour a new one, double the width of the original driveway. The price was reasonable. I had received estimates from 3 other companies (much more expensive). They removed all the debris of the original driveway, dug out for the new one, laid a gravel base for drainage and allowed that to settle for several days before applying the new asphalt. I have not had any problems with drainage since. I did have some water problems prior. The driveway looks great and is graded properly. I am very happy. This company was prompt, finished the work in the time that I was told they would, and cleaned up everything after the work was done. I would highly recommend them.

There were some minor issues with the workmanship; we get a couple big puddles when it rains. They came out and looked at it but there's nothing they can do to fix it unless they were to redo the driveway entirely. The driveway is usable.

I like the look of the finished driveway and sidewalk, but there were too many issues that made me uncomfortable. The first crew who ripped out the old asphalt and laid the base for my new driveway didn't take the design out far enough into the turn-out. They just left without asking me if it was OK. I had the asphalt crew fix the problem. Had I not been there, I wouldn't have what I wanted. One of the guys putting in the new concrete sidewalk drank beers all day and threw his bottle caps and limes in my yard. Maybe this is typical for this area? The asphalt crew had to cut the sidewalk near the house. I found the cut-up concrete slabs they should have taken with them behind my woodpile last weekend. They almost left that day without completing the curbing I had asked for. I had to call the office to confirm. The crew left, the foreman took my check, and I wasn't asked to go over the job or asked if I had any questions. I've called the office twice now requesting a job completion receipt, and was told they would mail one out. They failed to do so both times. The office staff seemed irritated that I wasn't happy with the proposal copy or my canceled check. $6,800 is a lot of money to spend on one home project. I can't even get a receipt. I expect a contractor to care whether the customer buying their services is happy with what they paid for. They were the highest quote I received by $500 to $600. More didn't equal better.
I have a nice new driveway, but if I ever have to deal with another paving company (or any contractor), I'll make sure I end up with a company that truly appreciates my business. Drinking on the job, littering the customer's yard, hiding the debris in the yard, poor communication and not responding to requests for a receipt are unprofessional. I rate them a C overall because I'm satisfied with the finished product so far and some of the crew were helpfully accommodating.... but if you choose this company, be sure to be at home whenever they're working to ensure the job is done to your specifications and they take everything they rip out with them, since that's in the contract. Professionalism rates them a D.

They were able to assess the damage and recommend the best way to correct the issue. I asked if a retaining wall could be installed, to widen the driveway and run the piping to carry the water to the bottom of the hill. The free estimate included all of the above, except the retaining wall wasn't completely necessary considering the objective of the drain. I called the next day to give the go ahead and schedule a start date. They called the day before that date and informed me that weather (four days of rain) had pushed them a bit behind schedule. They were able to set a new date and arrived as expected. The job was completed within the time frame that was stated and I am extremely pleased with the final result. It hasn't rained yet to see how the drain pipe works, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

They were convenient. We called them and they came the next week. They were responsive and punctual. The workers were reliable. They came out and did the work they said they were going to do for the cost they said they were going to do it at.

THEY WERE GOOD, BUT NOT CHEAP. THEY CAME OUT and SEEMED PRETTY PROFESSIONAL IN WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THEY HAD A LIST OF PEOPLE THEY HAD WORKED FOR. THEY WORKED WELL, QUICKLY, and PROFESSIONALLY. GENERALLY THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD. THEY CAME OUT and DID THE JOB ON TIME, ALTHOUGH THEY DID NOT COME ONE DAY THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO.
