Cole came out and looked at the outdoor A/C unit. I called them because the fan on the unit had stopped moving and we had no cold air coming through the house. He briefly looked at the unit and decided it needed a new capacitor so he put a new one in which got the unit running for about 10 minutes before stopping again. He noticed this before leaving and said the coils were binding up and I needed a whole new unit. He took the new capacitors he put in back so we would not be charged, but never put our original one back. He left after charging us a pretty penny for him to come out and essentially diagnose nothing other than we needed a new system. I had another company come out for a second opinion, thankfully. They came and cleaned the entire unit and ran some tests- with his own capacitor after finding that there was not one in there. He found that the fan motor was overheating, causing it to shut off. He replaced the motor and fixed the issues with the unit.

Excellent! Technician arrived on time and prepared my systems for the summer. Work was done both effectively and efficiently. Diagnosed a small leak in a/c and gave me options to fix.

Working with Cole Heating and Cooling is like working with family. When you call you are speaking to someone who knows what is going on and who knows you. No endless waiting and call forwarding to different departments as the case is so often with some operations.
Cole put in my new oil fired burner, Sam, the owner, worked with me personally to go over my boiler options and to plan the job. I got three quotes and the quote from Cole for the job was on the dime and right in line with the competition. Additionally, the work was done by a top Cole's technician working along with Sam, who owns the company and who was on site the whole time. The job was done in the time estimated, and the installation went perfectly. The new boiler looks and runs great.
There is a lot to be said about working with a local company where you know the people you are dealing with and they know you. You are not just an account number. I can't say enough about how pleased I am.

Cole Heating and Cooling came out twice (over 2 different summers) to repair our central air conditioning. They are easy to work with, from placing the initial call to the office to the repairmen actually coming to the house. They give you a 2-hour window so you don't have to take the whole day off from work and they arrive within that window. They explain what the problem is and what they are going to do to fix it. The have also followed-up with us on replacing a part and have done so very quickly. Their prices are fair and reasonable.
We have also ordered oil from them multiple times as their pricing is very competitive.
