Dependable Duct Cleaning

Thorough, professional and personable. Took the time to do two walk throughs, first to verify the scope of work, second to verify completion. Used dropcloths where appropriate and wiped down floor areas. There's a reason this company has been in business for so long. They are not inexpensive and book months out. Well worth it. Refreshing to cross paths with techs who take pride in their work.

It went very well. They were on time, polite, responsive and explained what they were going to do. Afterward they suggested some questions for me to ask my air-conditioning company.

The two techs from Dependable Duct Cleaning made it to our house a few minutes early, which was great. They checked out the venting at the dryer and the run of the duct to the outside on an inner wall of the garage. Then they set to work. In half an hour their work was done. They were polite, friendly, very kind to our dogs (who greeted them with enthusiasm), and -- most important -- thoroughly professional. They took care to get the vent/ductwork cleaned and, at the dryer, reattached with an elbow that was more tightly fitted than what had been installed by a contractor earlier. They were careful to clean up after themselves (though the lint or dust produced inside was very modest indeed). Great guys, who did a great job. We will use this company again.

Very well. They did a great job and even reduced the price that was agreed upon the phone since a portion of the vent did not have to be replaced.

Excellent. Free estimate done in timely manner. Appt for service made and kept. All work performed was done efficiently and professionally. Good team of guys. They explained what they were going to do, what might need to be done and what actually needed to be done. All my questions and concerns were answered and I'm breathing clean air!! Would have them back again. The only reason I will not give cost is because every home is different with there own unique set of issues. My home is older, near water, with a crawl space and ducts in the floors, walls and ceiling. My advice is call for free estimate and go with your gut. I was very happy with my results.

Service performed to expectations and very thoroughly

Very well. He arrived on time, inspected the vent first to determine if it actually needed cleaning, and then did a quick and professional job in the cleaning. The worksite was clean and left as he found it.

Sal's son and his assistant arrived on time and completed the work in about 3 hours which consisted of cleaning out the ducts and the vents in my business store front.  The ducts and vents had never been cleaned and it was absolutely disgusting.  They did a really great job and answered all my questions.

Excellent service.  These guys (Sal's son and his assistant) were young, courteous, prompt, and professional.  The ducts look spotless (I stuck my head in and checked before and after).  Will definitely use again.

The air felt immediately different and cleaner.  I am feeling much better, this was a new house for me and I was having a hard time breathing due to the past owner's cat fur trapped in the ducts! 

Sal is very nice and while seems to run a bit late he is very responsive and professional.  Sal will admit that he is not the cheapest around but he does quality work and is a local family business (son works for him).  But honesty, when the dryer vent is figured in he is pretty competitive (we didn't even ask for the dryer vent he just told us he would clean it as well) for our 1650 sq ft, two-story house.

I called Dependable Air Duct cleaning on a Friday and over the weekend he arranged to come estimate the job.  And Sal Scianna came out promptly on Monday and gave me a quote.  It wasn't a low price but I accepted it (the other guy who came out wouldn't even take the job since it was too much for one guy with a simple shop vac, and he could see I would not accept less than a thorough cleaning).  On cleaning day about 3 weeks later, his son and two other young men came out and cleaned my home's air ducts.  They arrived on time and started right to work.  We have a very large single heating/cooling unit and the job took over 4 hours.  They had the proper equipment for the job and were very thorough.  They had a BIG vacuum that was pulling 15 amps all the time it was on, plus a gasoline-powered air compressor out in their truck that was running all the time, too.  We don't allow shoes in our home (Japanese custom) and the guys honored that with no problem.  They removed three dead mice and some 40+ year-old steel beer cans (that predated pull-tabs).  They are not cheap, but can handle cleaning a big system (our attic is finished and is 3 floors above the furnace, and I've got a heated/cooled garage and they cleaned all of it).

We had three guys over at our townhouse to clean out the air ducts. We had hardwood flooring done last year so this was long over due. Michael Scianna and his men were very thorough in cleaning the vents and the furnace unit. They even tried to investigate why two of our vents never got any flow. My mother-in-law was over when the work was done and she mentioned that they were friendly and hard working. I would definitely recommend this company. Sal Scianna was very accommodating of our schedule and we very much appreciated that.

The crew arrived on time and completed the work on time. Called them after a few days after we noticed that one of the Air ducts was not cleaned properly and they promptly made a return call and took care of it.

Everything went as I  expected and they are definitely a DEPENDABLE company!!
When I called them back because I thought that one of the  return vent may have not been cleaned (it was hidden by a dresser), they came right back the same day and resolved my problem without hesitation. In fact the duct was cleaned all the way except the vent cover.  So thank you guys!!

The two young men who came were polite and worked diligently to clean out my very dirty air ducts.  They were professional and knew exactly how to carry out their job.  I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. The owner, Sal Scianna, a very congenial man, phoned us about a week later to follow up to see if we were satisfied with the work done. We mentioned that we thought one of the air return ducts needed some adjustment.  Mr. Scianna came out to the house the following day, with a new Lithium battery screw driver, and promptly fixed the problem.  He is an honest and reputable person.  You cannot go wrong using this company. 

The owner's son and a co-worker arrived promptly - not only were these young men clearly skilled and professional, but they were polite and  very friendly. I felt very comfortable having them in my home (they even made friends with my dog!).
They did an extremely thorough job and my husband and I are very pleased. We have put them on our community's "Preferred Vendors" list, so I hope I will see them around soon.
I highly recommend this company. (Who knew clean ducts could make one so happy?)
