Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
Connor and Harry were polite and professional during the initial meeting and provided valuable information about the process, the materials. Approximately 10 days after signing the contract I reached out for an update on timing and did not hear back. When I did hear from the project coordinator it was 12 hours (yes you read that right) before the subcontractor was due to show up the next day. The first 3 lines of the contract stated pulling a permit in advance of the job starting, laying out tarps around the perimeter of my garage, and the delivery of the materials in advance of the job starting. The permit was pulled after the job was completed after I requested a copy for my insurance company. The materials arrived about an hour after the subcontractor finished stripping the roof. The garage perimeter was cleaned up. I ended up having to call the building inspector to request an inspection (which was approved)
Overall, I am disappointed in the execution of this project.

TEC replaced the roof on my historic home and our garage. From the initial representatives (Connor & Kevin) to the project manager (Asher) and crew lead (Frank) TEC went above and beyond to provide my family a roof that will stand for the next ~50 years. From soup to nuts, TEC was extremely professional, efficient and courteous. I would hire The Exterior Company again.

After evaluating multiple contractors, we hired The Exterior Company (TEC) to replace our roof. The experience, from start to finish, was exceptional. Harry and Connor got us started and quickly answered every question we had. The crew, PMed by Asher, was fast, efficient, friendly and completed the job in one day, cleaning up after themselves leaving no trace of debris behind. The job was very reasonably priced and expertly managed in every respect. We highly recommend TEC to anyone looking for a local contractor to do roof replacement!

When I first was approached by TEC for doing my roof replacement due to storm damage I have to admit that I didn't know how the process would go. But the TEC representative took all the time I wanted to explain, in detail, what I could expect. After they did the inspection of my roof and found the damage, they stayed with me as I contacted my insurance company and gave the insurance rep all the information. Once the claim was started, TEC did an excellent job coordinating everything needed by all parties. The roof replacement job was done, amazingly, in 1 day by a very professional crew who did an excellent job. We would not hesitate to recommend TEC based on our overall experience from start to finish.
