After following the monthly lawn care fertilization schedule most of the year, on advice of Lawn Dawg, they performed the core aeration and overseeding service. The results were excellent. We have renewed the maintenance contract for the following year as we were very pleased with the overall results and their courteous and professional service.

This was my first year with Lawn Dawg, the first treatment went well tech came out as promised in the email and treated my lawn, my wife and I were both home and spoke to him.  He was very nice, and knowledgeable and answered all questions, we even decided to add on the ant/tick service.  A couple weeks later he was back out to treat for the ant/ticks everything went well on that treatment as well.  The next treatment was suppose to contain supplemental crab grass control, lime and fertilizer, this treatment I was not home, I always review my cameras to ensure everything was treated I noticed the tech only made one pass with the spreader and only filled it once when he first arrived to my house, my lawn is about 27,000 square feet, so one fill up puts lime, crab grass and fertilizer in one shot was hard for me to believe, in addition the product list on the bill that was left had several different products so I called and questioned the rep got in contact with the tech who stated everything was put down as billed, I questioned her further and she assured me it was all complete, so I let it be and took her word for it.  Next call was a service for weeds, no notification the tech would be coming out as promised by the company, but he did show up in 48 hours and treat the weeds.  Next fertilizer treatment I was home and spoke to the tech he did a very thorough job.  Next treatment was completed by the branch manager in the Hartford office, he did not see any cars in the driveway so never came to the door, from the time the guy pulled up to the time he left was about 7 min, he neglected to spray about 30% of my yard, when I emailed customer service he claimed he didn't know it was my property and will be back out to treat in an hour.  That is the furthest from the truth since my property is clearly defined with a fence, the manager thought no one was home so did a "splash and dash".  As promised he was back to re-treat the missed areas, he also came back in 2 weeks to treat it again, this time my wife was home except he began spraying before even coming to the door, when he came to the door he knocked extremely aggressively and was rude to my wife, took no time to explain what he was doing.  Next treatment was the standard fertilizer treatment, again I was not home, tech appeared to spread fertilizer over the whole lawn and that was it, when I reviewed my bill it also stated he applied weed control via a back sprayer, which was not the case.  I decided after this treatment to fire the company, this company lacks professionalism and does not perform their services you pay for.  The company lacks integrity and does not want to hear what the customers has to say, when i expressed my concerns and told Christina at customer service I have the techs caught red handed she refused to listen and simply say "that is not our practice we treat all lawns as billed, if we did not it would cost the company more money."  In addition the services were fair, as I had several weed break through that I have not had in the prior years.  This is the prime example of a lawn service that scams their customers, stay away from this company, unless you plan on being home during every treatment to ensure everything is put down baby sitting the company, you will spend countless times on the phone with them.

*UPDATE*
Companies customer service is terrible it adds in to the dishonesty of this Company, no more customer is always right with them, their customer service reps are very unprofessional, are condescending in their correspondence, I've expressed my concerns with their lack of honesty multiple times and every time an excuse was made and they denied even though I had them on camera.  When it came time to settle up my final bill (FOR MY LAST TREATMENT TOTAL OF $106 I PAID $53) I told them I was only paying for half of it since the full service was not completed, they then proceeded to tell me how there is no money back guarantee, and if they did not treat for weeds that is a free service.  I paid them half of the service and only after a request to discuss over the phone did they agree to remove the other 50% of the last treatment.  I was not trying to get anything for free despite how unhappy I was with the service just wanted to pay for the services they completed and not pay for the services not completed.    

I also paid for a grub treatment that was suppose to last all season long, but I somehow subsequently to firing them ended up with grubs that killed a good portion of my lawn.  I have treated every year since I have owned my house with another company and have never had a problem.  Based on my interactions with this company and the results on my lawn I would say my property was never treated for grubs.  BUYER BEWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Wonderful, professional service. They would contact through email a few days prior to inform when they were coming to treat lawn. They always left a detailed summary report of the treatment done on that particular day. When I had an event planned for the weekend, I contacted them to be sure they did not come out the days prior to treat the lawn. They were very accommodating. All I have to do is mow the lawn and keep the grass watered after some treatments during the summer.

Payment was easy. Either in full (they offer a discount) or on account. It could be done online on your personal account with the company. Your personal account retains all your payments, treatment options and details of visits. Communication through email was immediate and courteous.

My lawn has not looked this good in four years and I have renewed for another year. I have received many complements and I must admit it is one of the best looking lawns on the street.
