I was told that the order would come in around 3-4 weeks. At 4 weeks time, it wasn't in and I still hadn't received a call. I called them and they told me it would be another 1-2 weeks because the carpet was coming from California??
About 2 weeks after that, the carpet came in and they sent the carpet and the installer. The installer was good and took about a weeks to put in the carpet. He did pretty good work but I wasn't really happy with the seams that he left. They were really obvious.
The unprofessional part was that they would debit the installation cost after each room they did each day. the first time this happened I called them and told them not to debit my account without me knowing because I needed to make sure the funds were in the proper account. And when I asked them why I needed to pay piece by piece rather than after the job was done (I had already put a large deposit down on the carpet), they just kept telling me "it came from California."
Fast forward to the next day (a Friday)...the installer came back and after he was done Russell Carpet charged me again without my knowledge!! I called them and they told me that it was Friday and they needed to charge me because they didn't want to wait through the weekend. What?? And the job was not yet done.
It is because of these very strange business practices that I will never use them again.
