We had used Roman before (for replacing siding & windows) and had a good experience with him, so called him back when we had more windows to replace.   He was very responsive and communicative throughout the process, and arranged for someone he knew to do the window work.  He fully coordinated with the window guy so we only had to work with Roman.  (Half of the $3000 was what we paid him, and the other half for replacing 2 custom windows).  We didn't look into any other companies (i.e. no real price shopping, so I'm not sure what to rate him there) because the window was leaking causing damage to the drywall inside.  This had been going on for several months before we called Roman, but he came and fixed it quickly.  He also was very responsive to us by email, prodding us when we let some things slip (we also wanted him to do some other minor work, but we were pretty busy and dropped the ball on that one.)

He's a nice guy, does good work, and we would definitely use Roman again.

Roman is terrific. He got us the estimate for the work quickly and was able to schedule all the removal of the paneling in one day. He came back to work on the drywall and did a fabulous job with the repairs and sanding. You would never know that it wasn't brand new drywall. Roman is a pleasure to work with and I recommend him very highly.

Roman was very prompt in coming out to see the bathroom to give us the estimate. We had talked to several contractors about the bathroom, but Roman's estimate was the most detailed and he was great at communicating exactly what we needed done. He listened to what we wanted and was able to make some terrific suggestions, including the corner shelf for our tub. He was even able to show us pictures so we could make a decision. He coordinated with the electrician and plumber amazingly well and everyone came out and finished the demolition and rough plumbing and electrical of the bathroom in one day. Roman made sure that our tub and toilet were reinstalled quickly so our daughters could have part of their bathroom back before the countertops came in. He always stayed in communication with us, responding to e-mails and phone calls very quickly. He was able to let us know that he would have the vanity installed ahead of time so that we could arrange for the granite guys to come out and do the template. He always left the work area completely clean and dust-free and was very careful not to track any dust or debris around our house. Roman is wonderful to work with and he makes the remodeling process a pleasure. He is extremely organized, friendly, honest, and prompt. He is great at communicating and I would highly recommend him to anyone. In fact, I have recommended him to several friends.

Roman removed old shingle siding, double hung windows and a sliding door. Then he insulated the sheathing and installed new hardy cement fiber board and Anderson casement windows and a door. His price was very good, he takes great pride in his work, uses quality materials. He was punctual and very responsive. Roman worked hard to ensure we got the lowest price for materials and delivered a great job. In short he is a gem.
