He was having personal problems which made him late, and his work was not very good.

As far as lawn cutting and clean up, they were fine, although it did bother me that one of the workers smoked cigarettes non-stop while on the large riding mower. And then he would throw them into the woods next to the lawn. The real trouble came when they plowed. Every time it snowed, they would either plow snow into our porch so I had to shovel our steps out, or they would not plow it at all. If they did plow, they wouldn't come until late afternoon, which meant that we were stuck in our driveway until then as it is a long driveway.
Also, when I would call about plowing problems, I could never get anyone on the phone or by email for at least 24 hours.
My biggest issue was when they had cut down trees in the neighbor's yard and then dumped the mulch on the side of our driveway where we were trying to grow grass! I went outside and told them not to dump any more since we were trying to grow grass. I had to leave that afternoon and when I came back - more mulch! I wrote and called and asked them to remove the mulch, but they never did. At this point, I had given up and decided to find another company.

The service performed is not a one-time service but an ongoing relationship that has lasted at least 10 years. My overall experience is very positive.

He was recommended by my neighbor. The work is going on now and so far it is fine. They are punctual. I will use him again.
