If I struggle to find fault, it would be that they are so understandably busy that they can't give you an exact date of when they will do the work. They told me this beforehand and I liked their price, description of work, and the Angie's list reviews so much that I decided to wait for them. They told me they could do the work in approximately 6 weeks (and they would notify me a day or so before they came out). I called at around six weeks and they had me scheduled for that same week. At that time, a very professional employee, Lisa, provided me with the day they would show up that week - she did say that if rain threw them off, their entire schedule could be affected. We had a little rain, but they stayed on schedule and performed the work on time.
I did notice the single negative Angie's review and can say my experience was 180 degrees different. Two extremely polite workers showed up, went over the details with me then spent the rest of the day working quietly and efficiently until they left a perfect job. I will say that I begged them to do one thing - if they hit a sprinkler line, to just stop and alert me so I could repair it. Believe me, I've had nightmare situations with contractors who think they should bury their mistakes which causes terrible problems later. The Riverside guys replied that they do hit sprinkler lines all the time and have a full inventory of parts to repair any damages immediately. This was exactly what I wanted to hear. I have enough experience building that I know sometimes you simply can't prevent an accident and their answer was honest and professional. I felt so good about these guys that I left them alone and never questioned them until they called for me. They showed me a sprinkler head that was imbedded in concrete which they had to remove. The head had a small dent in it and the worker said he may have made the dent but it could have been there already. I can't tell you how much I appreciated his honestly but it was such a small thing and when we tested it, that sprinkler was not even connected. It was already damaged, so the original sprinkler guys simply abandoned it in place (Riverside did not dent it). But the Riverside guys went through great pains to do the right thing and try to save the sprinkler. I'm very happy with all they've done.
Rob came out to measure the area and helped us brainstorm on the best configuration. He also helped us think through how the fence was going to impact other current projects--helping to avoid some costly mistakes.
Junior and Robin installed the fence and were terrific. They were very professional and did a terrific job. The fence is installed perfectly. The overall quality of the materials was also top-notch.
I absolutely love my new fence and gate. I don't think it would have turned out nearly as nice with the other fencing companies. Between Rob, Junior, and Robin the whole job turned out much better than I had hoped for.
I will definitely be calling them again for other fencing around the property and highly recommend them.
All work was completed as promised, finished professionally and without problem. The owner was on-site to inspect the project and subsequent repairs needed due to storm damage were made immediately. This one is a keeper.
"Thank you for your kind words regarding our knowledgable and professional crew. It is very rare that we have a customer dissatisfied with our service. We are A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau and over 80% of our work is secured through referrals, repeat customers and from within the trade. Sometimes problems do arise with a project but we always ensure that the customer is completely satisfied with our work before the final payment is expected. We are sorry you were disappointed with your third project with us, but we hope the new work we did in December of 2012 was done to your satisfaction. We would welcome the opportunity to work with you again in the future. Thank you from the Riverside Team!"
