About us
Complete residential building services. I have been self-employed at the building trades for 36 years and hold a bachelor's degree in design. I am the 3rd generation in my family in the trades in the USA. I usually work alone or with one other person, but can expand as required. Estimates are free. Jobs are currently figured at $40 per hour (there is generally no Connecticut state or local tax on most residential projects for labor). Materials are at MY COST plus 27% to cover sales tax, profit and overhead. This will sometimes still prove to be less than what a homeowner would pay at retail. Discounts may be available under certain conditions, especially for seniors 65 and older. Since 1973 I have ben responsible for some commercial renovation as well as much residential remodeling, additions, new homes, roofing, siding and custom carriage house style garage doors. I have a complete shop dedicated to the production of residential millwork including built-ins and free standing furniture. I have a portfolio of past work available for viewing. I also have experience acting as a client's advocate and liaison on a consulting basis.
