Billy gave me a price of $500 to cut all of the bushes, and $1500 to fix both gullies when he came over Fri May 9. I accepted this price and he scheduled the work to be done on Wednesday or Thurs of next week. They came on May 15 at 8:00 am and started to work on the gully, digging it out, and Billy was cutting down the big tree and any smaller ones that would be in the way of the machinery. The other guys were cutting the bushes. My neighbor across the street allowed them to dispose of the brush from the bushes in the woods next to his house. The tall skinny tree branches were stacked on my stick pile. They worked until 2:00. He said they would be back in a few days to pick up the brush. A lot of my bushes were blooming with flowers at the time, and he said they would be back to finish the job, cutting them once they were done blooming. June 25, I called Billy to find out when they were coming back to clean up and finish cutting the bushes, as they were ready now, and I wanted a price on building a shed also. I left a message. He texted me later in the day and said it was easier for him to text instead. He wanted to know what kind of shed I wanted. I replied the next day, June 26, and told him what kind of and asked again when he was coming to finish the job. Later that day, he replied and said he got busy and he would be around my area the next day, June 27, and come by and grab that stuff and talk with me. I texted Billy in the morning, 8:06 to let me know what time he was coming over. He replied at 4:38 and said he missed placing my address. I sent it to him. He came over, took pictures of the tall tree branches they left, and looked at the rest of the bushes. He said the boys had 5 lawns to mow on Saturday, and if they had time, they would stop over and pick up the brush; if not, they would be here first thing Monday, June 30, morning. I texted him at 6:45 pm and told him the boys never showed up. He said they were not back at the office yet, and he would figure out what's going on, and if anything, he will be by here tomorrow, July 1. He never showed up. I paid them with a check for the full amount as agreed. The check was cashed 2 days later.
