TOM FAMA IDEAL CARPENTRY CO

From the very beginning it was obvious that Tom was a dedicated and honest professional.  His complete honesty and skills made him stand above the rest of those bidding on the job.  He identified numerous house design issues that no other bidders identified and his bid was detailed and transparent.  During home construction there were multiple problems stemming from the home being post and beam with structural panel walls and there being no plumbing or electrical plans included.  Tom and his team would identify the issue, provide courses of action, and allow me to make the decision.  He often pointed out opportunities for improvements while never needlessly upselling.  He had many creative ideas for the house based on his extensive experience and his records from past projects.  Tom really made it feel like we were building the home together. I grew up in a contractor family and have been involved in homebuilding my whole life.  Tom has the rare ability to see the project as a whole and manage a large complicated project and to still work on the details.  The house ended up on budget/schedule, AND the custom built in closet is breath taking (in my wife's words).  I was unable to build this house myself due to an assignment overseas.  Tom and his team were absolutely outstanding professionals throughout the 18 month process from beginning to end.
