Expediter Electric LLC

Found out about Expediter Electric from our neighbor who had some small to medium electrical work done.
We had John from Expediter come to the house and provide estimates on several electrical installations including adding numerous conventional outlets,security lights off the back deck (requiring a new electrical circuit), adding a ceiling fan in the living room, replacing bathroom exhaust fan (including installing a roof vent which had never been present), replacing the attic exhaust fan, replacing front security lights, installing GFCI circuits and plugs in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen, adding a hookup to run the electric burner on the furnace off of a generator. His estimates were exceedingly reasonable, coming in at less than 50% of estimates from others for less work. The lower estimates actually induced us to add more items to the list than we were originally planning.
He performed all of the work over a period of time in 2011/2012.  Most of the work was performed in the early spring of 2011, and we had him back to add the hookup for the electric burner in early 2012. All of his electrical installations were of high quality. He took time to explain particulars of his work, even taking the time to describe the parameters of a 3 way light circuit that I could never get to operate correctly and that he fixed easily.
In addition to being a certified electrician he also has some handyman skills. He did some additional work for us leveling our garden shed (and repairing a water leak there) as well as installing a closet door.
When we were digging a new well at my mother's Wolcott CT home in mid 2012, a new heavy duty circuit needed to be installed for the new water pump. While John's service area does not extend to Wolcott, he did refer me to someone local to the area who performed quality work, also at a reasonable price.
Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of all work that John has performed for us. He is competent and efficient and reasonable in his pricing. He was always open to discussing alternatives and freely tapped into his years of experience to provide insight into cost/benefits of potential options. He truly seemed more focused on trying to give us a fair deal than maximizing profit.
