"If the Angie's List Big Deal was not clear on the matter of materials cost being the responsibility of the customer, I will be sure that It does in the future. The price of $109 for 4 hours works out to $27.25 per hour of which I cover insurance, licensing, fuel, and consumables (blades, brushes etc...). I feel this is an exceptional value."
"Thank you for your input and I am concerned that you were unhappy with the service provided. I checked my notes from January and as I recall the following items were accomplished Patching of 2 holes in drywall. Re-attach storm door closer (the door case was damaged due to multiple screws pulling out) Install 2 blinds Install 3 Curtin rods (I'm unsure how these were broken but if the screws pulled out I would be willing to re-install) Install under cabinet lights Put jammed drawer back on track Install electronic door lock (a complex installation) Started installation of garage shelf (I informed the customer that I would be unable to complete in the 6 hours that was prepaid, and that if they wanted me to complete it there would be an additional charge which they declined.) I believe this to be a high value for 6 hours."
I had a long list of items that I wanted done. I did not think Mike could do them all in the 6 hours scheduled. When Mike arrived he got right down to business and went from one task to another. He was efficient and very professional, he did not waste time like many hourly workers do. Everything was completed to my complete satisfaction. I could not say enough about how happy I am with his work. I would highly recommend him. I did not have anything too difficult for him to do but I am quite certain that he would be able to handle almost any job that I needed. I will definitely call him again and will be sharing his name and telephone number with my friends and neighbors.
On the first day, Mike installed the vanity, counter top, and faucet. After he left, I discovered that the drain pipe was leaking and the lift rod (the lever that goes up and down to control the sink plug) wasn't working. I called immediately, while he was still on the road, and he returned to fix the leak. He fixed that, then left and returned the next day to finish the job. He returned on time and worked on the faucet again. He finished what he was doing, and the lift rod still didn't work. He suggested I contact the faucet manufacturer for a replacement lift rod.
When he left, the lift rod wasn't working. The caulking at the top of the backsplash was poorly applied and lumpy, with splotches all over. The hoses and wires under the sink were a tangled mess. He left behind dirty footprints and fingerprints. When I called him to point out the problems, he said that I was satisfied when he left. Actually, I wasn't satisfied, but wanted to avoid confrontation. Plus, I didn't have time to do a more thorough inspection. I asked for half my money back; he offered $50. back, which I settled for.
That $50. doesn't nearly cover what it cost me to hire a real plumber to remedy the lift rod and hose issues. I regret buying this deal.
Mike is a very nice man. It's unfortunate that he can't produce quality work.
"Thank You for the review. I appreciate your business and look forward to working with you again."
"Thank you for your review I appreciate the feedback and will be keeping a roll of plastic in my truck from now on to help alleviate the unavoidable mess of demolition."

Mike impressed me right from the start. He LISTENED to what I was looking to have accomplished, he understood what was required and didn't waste any time. I will be having Mike back to do more work for us.

Job was done quickly and efficiently, and debris cleaned up completely. Nice job all around. Very satisfied customer. I would definitely use his company again.
"Thank You for the review. I appreciate your business and look forward to working with you again."
He also allowed me to pick his brain about some projects I am currently doing around the house and gave me some excellent tips and advice.
I have some other projects that need to be done and will definitely be using his services again.
"Thank You for the Review. I enjoyed getting your job accomplished and look forward to being considered for future projects. Fall is the time to protect your house from water damage by getting your gutters cleaned and repaired."
