Absolutely the RUDEST and MOST UNPROFESSIONAL company I've ever encountered. This is our exchange thus far, from my email to their customer service regarding their reply on Google Reviews: "To whom it may concern-- I am in utter shock regarding the reply to my poor--though sadly accurate--Google review regarding your business. I had an unpleasant experience with Matt in the oil department and said as much. We have previously been customers of yours and I had reached out to enquire about renewing our contract. I left Matt a voicemail to which he never replied. I called again the next week and spoke to him in person and he was less than professional. He acted put out to answer questions. In fact, he seemed to go out of his way to turn away our business. I asked he send the information via email, which he failed to do. I decided to go with Cash Oil, instead. I left a Google review, which I am enclosing: "     2 weeks ago Very disappointed with the service. Left a message for Matt in the Oil department and he never called back. When I did reach him he was short with me on the phone and never sent me the info I requested via email. I had a great experience with the folks there in the past, but Matt turned me off. I chose another vendor." THIS WAS THE REPLY I RECEIVED: Response from the owner 4 hours ago Ms. Kossack – your criticism is groundless. Period. We have thousands of customers. You were NOT one of them. When your oil provider couldn’t come to your home on a Saturday you called us. We were already servicing our customers. You expected us to drop service for a customer simply to solve your problem. You’re living in a fantasy world. Especially when you consider how rude you were to our CSRs. Please – DON’T call us again." In what world does a business address buyers, potential or otherwise, this way??? This is highly insulting as well as completely inaccurate. I never called on a Saturday demanding service. Check your logs and your recordings. To falsely claim I was rude and then tell me I am "living in a fantasy world" is beyond the pale. I called for information and with the potential of my business. This is the response I got? When the fault lay completely on your end?? UNREAL. Rest assured I will let it be known widely and clearly how unprofessional this experience was and I will do my utmost to steer any and everyone away from doing business with you. Matt is an abrupt j******. I can only guess he was the one who wrote the reply. By all means, insult your potential clientele....you deserve such an inert employee and I hope you continue to lose customers. I've reported the response to Google and will be contacting the BBB, as well as will be sharing my impressions on social media. How dare you?" DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!!!

I was a customer for over 2 years they overcharged me by thousands of dollars. I tried to bring it to their attention and they didn’t care. When I told them they were overcharging me they informed me of a $500 service fee and a delivery fee that I didn’t know about on top of the fuel that they were charging $4,99 a gallon for. I have a 275 ga tank. they claimed they were delivering 150 gallons a month and they were charging me $400 a month. I cut my contract with them. I have now been running my heater at 75° and over for the last three months and my fuel tank is still over half full. I don’t know where they put all that fuel, but it definitely didn’t come to my house. It may not be ever Daniel’s energy company that scams people but the one that delivers to Wethersfield CT definitely does: do not recommend and I’m telling everyone. .

selecting a new oil-fired boiler was a long process..many quotes from every company that serves my area. Ron D. was exceptional. he is focused on quality, not just another "sale". Ron provided 3 impressive, detailed quotes (best I received). Daniels arrived in the time window specified. Post install cleanup was exceptional. Pricing was competitive - not higher. From start to finish this has been an amazing transaction - rare these days. I was impressed with everyone I met at Daniels. If you need answers along the way, you can count on Alanna T. ...she is on the ball! The experience was so good, I have also selected Daniels for new propane service after evaluating 4 quotes from other propane companies. Again, no issues. Ask for Tim Pappas. Should have done all of this years ago. credit where credit is due. A+

We have been Daniels Energy customers for over 30 years and decided to look at installing air conditioning in our home. Daniels Energy came out and gave us a quote very promptly, included several rebates and answered all our questions. They came out to our home and reviewed everything with us prior to the installation so there we no hidden surprises. They showed up on time on the day of the installation and completed all of the work in one day and were very professional. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work performed and the operation of the AC units. Would highly recommend Daniels Energy.

Overall rating is an A++++.One stop shopping from install to supply of propane Everyone from beginning to end was very nice. easy to talk to and extremely courteous. This was a big job and they stayed until the job was complete and cleaned up afterwards. I have not one bad thing to say about the guys and I most certainly would do business again. We recently had a ductless central air system installed. The entire team was nothing but great. Our first contact was with Lori, the service coordinator, who arranged a visit from a sales person. The sales person, Brian, thoroughly explained all of our options, surveyed the locations for the units, and wrote up the contract. He made sure no question was left unanswered. Shortly after that Josh, John, and Angel, the installation crew showed up and began the job. They worked efficiently, and neatly, and before the day was done the system was completely installed, the place was spotlessly cleaned, the operation of the system was thoroughly explained, and the house was cooling down. We have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Daniels for purchasing and installing a ductless central air system. We were completely satisfied and impressed with the Daniels experience. From the first visit from the sales rep through installation, everything was perfect. We went with Daniels because of they carry the Mitsubishi brand and because they are a company we knew would be around to provide service if needed. The installation and cleanup was fast and professional. The installers were knowledgeable. Answered my questions and went through the operation of the system including some user tips. We purchased a single outdoor unit and two indoor units. One indoor unit is 18,000 BTUs on our main level and the other is a 12,000 BTU unit on the second level in the master bedroom. Together they do a great job. Can't wait to try the heat setting this winter.

Went very Well. Sales Rep worked with us to see that the proposed system would meet our needs. The Install team arrived on agreed date and time, worked as a team with goal of doing inside work on day 1. The next they did the outside work, completed installation, tested the system, showed us how to operate the units and answered any questions. They left us the manuals and cleaned up, removing packing material and any trash.

We have been Daniels Energy propane customers for over 10 years. They consistently provide the best product and customer service. We recently purchased a ductless AC/Heating system from them. The sales and installation teams were just great. They were on time and kept us informed of their progress. They were also polite, extremely knowledgeable, and even took the time to reassure my Golden Retriever Maggie that everything was OK even though they were making noise in her home. Everything was picked up and left as it was before they came. We have had them back to check out some things on the AC system and to answer our questions regarding how it is supposed to work. Again, first-class customer service all the way. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

The air conditioner worked fine for exactly two days. Then, it froze again and stopped working. This happened on Saturday, so we spent a humid weekend without AC. When we called, Daniels disavowed responsibility, claiming that we had only requested a tune-up (which wasn't true). If we had wanted the repairman to check for leaks, that would have been a separate charge (which we were not told at the time we made the appointment, or during the repair). The woman we talked to was unsympathetic, and the soonest they could come out to charge us more money for what they should have done at the outset was the next week!
On top of this, their method of charging for work is unusual and completely favors them. I was forced to pay in advance using a credit card, so they had my money for 11 days before they did any work. And needless to say, it's extremely galling that we spent so much money and still have a non-functional AC, with no recourse except to hire someone else.
Most homeowners I know (us included) don't understand the ins and outs of an AC system. That's why we hire professionals. Daniels made us feel stupid, like we should have known what to ask for when we called for a repair. Ultimately, they take no accountability for their work, and don't seem to care that they have lost a customer due to their unprofessionalism.

Both the assessment/estimate process and the installation went very well.  Ron, who came out to work up the estimate for the work identified additional work that would be necessary, to upgrade our electrical service, that wasn't not identified by the other company the came out to give us an estimate.  He also made us aware of available financing options (which we ultimately did not need) and answered all our questions quickly.
After we had the electrical upgrade done, the installation of the system went quickly.  Done in just two days.  There was no mess to speak of and the installers were polite and friendly, a pleasure to work with.
Note: We also use Daniels Energy for our oil delivery and furnace service and we have never had any issues in the 30 yrs we have been with them.
