PRESTIGE PROFESSIONALS

So we called this company for an estimate to do a simple cleanup on our yard, which is just under half an acre. We had cleared a,, gardens of leaves and debris and just needed it removed. The estimator came out and viewed the work and told us someone from the office would contact us. It took approximately 10 days to get the estimate, which came back at 850.00. When asked what that covered, I really did not get a breakdown, just the cleanup, manpower, truck, gas, etc. I asked how many man hours and her response was 4 hours, 5 men. Wowser, they must pick every leaf by hand in that case. Serious gouging in my ever so humble opinion. I had asked the estimator what would be done and he told me they would use backpack leaf blowers, remove the leaves and twigs, and that was it. You would think the quoted price would have included everything from hand raking, edging, fertilizing. And hand trimming for that many men to be here so long. because they had not gotten back to us, we already had the work done by someone else for 250,00, with a complete breakdown of what every dollar was for. This job took 2 men 5 hours, and this included 4 dump runs. then I relayed this to the lady at prestige, she told me the difference was that prestige is a Legitimate company with overhead, which was likely not the case with the company we chose.....REALLY?????? i needed my yard cleaned up, I didn't think I had to pay for all the office expenses to do have it done. If it takes 5 men 4 hours to do this job, maybe prestige should hire guys to work, not sunbathe!!!! obviously I will not hire this company to do anything, now or ever.
