Installation was done by Fernando and an assistant. Mario (their boss) was not present.Problems:1) Tile used for edges was not bullnose, merely tiles cut to 2.5" x 8' with grout rubbed on the outer edge to lessen the reddish color. By definition, bullnose has a rounded edge and the finish continues around the edge. 2) Because the tile isn't bullnose, the backsplash doesn't have a finished look, and the corners are sharp enough to cut oneself. 3) The small space between the back of the sink and the tiled wall was filled with a silicone caulk that looked messy and dirty. 4) In one area, the grout has a dirty, yellowish look. 5) The point where the waste pipe from the sink enters the wall was poorly cut leaving an unsightly ragged edge.
In response to complaints, Fernando returned and removed the unattractive caulking behind the sink, replacing it with grout. He used grout to fill in the ragged hole around the waste pipe. Mario came after Fernando's return and insisted that the 2.5" x 8" tile around the edge is bullnose. It's not. Mario said the matching rounded tile I asked for is not available. I ended up accepting a small adjustment in price ($950 to $875) but am disappointed.
