the plumber was there for 6 hours . charged my sister $1000.00 and still had no water when the plumber left, saying he did not know how to fix the problem.
after the plumber left my sister called several plumbing companies to assess the situation again. decided on Grecco and Haines, they told my sister to call smart thermal solutions back and have them take out the new pump and reinstall the old pump and ask for our money back as our problem had not been solved.
so my sister called smart thermal solutions back, asked for the old pump to be reinstalled and they keep the new pump(new pump and parts were $700.00) and that she would pay them for their labor($300.00).
Jadrien (owner / operator) came back from smart thermal solutions and took out the old pump complaining the whole time on how much money he was losing. having to endure his behavior, his lack of professionalism, was disturbing.
jadrien argued over the course of the day (6 hours) on the amount of money that he felt we should be getting back from his company. he disagreed that we should get back the full $700.
he issued a check to us for $584 and then he we found that he put a stop- payment on that check. We had issued (at the same time) a check to him for $1,000. When we found that he put a stop payment on his check, we paid the bank to put a stop-payment on our check. So the result was that no one got any money.
as is stands now: he is charging us $418 for labor.
we hired Grecco and Haines who came out to our house and fixed the problem in 2.5 HOURS. all said and done, we would like to forewarn other people: BEWARE of SMART THERMAL SOLUTIONS.
we will be entering praises into AngiesList for grecco and haines.
