Phoenix Propane LLC

Phoenix Propane is an unreliable, incompetent, and highly unprofessional company to deal with. We requested to be set up on Autopay three times and they kept failing to action this. As a result of their incompetence in setting up this arrangement, we ran out of propane three times in the course of a year and had to resort to costly emergency refill requests each time. When we complained to Phoenix Propane, they kept trying to blame this on us by saying it was because we were not set up on Autopay. We disputed this and informed them we had requested Autopay to be set up numerous times and they had not actioned it. Despite telling us each time they would set this up, we would find out later on when we ran out of propane that they in fact hadn’t. Each time this happened, we had to spend hours identifying the problem and communicating with Phoenix to get them to make an emergency trip to refill the tanks. We got so fed up with their incompetence that we decided to switch to another propane provider. Phoenix Propane was notified of the date that our new propane tanks would be installed and Ralph, out of sheer spite, got his staff to collect their tanks before this date so that we would be left without any propane. Every other company waits until the new tanks are installed to pick up theirs to ensure customer convenience and safety. Despite us telling Phoenix several times to only collect the tanks on that specific date, he went ahead and collected the tanks early, knowing full well we would be left without propane. Ralph left us in a position where we were unable to cook or use our fireplace during winter conditions. This is highly unprofessional behavior. The operating practices at this company are totally ineffective and unacceptable, and I would advise anyone who is considering using Phoenix Propane to choose another company.

I love this company. They are very responsive, professional and their prices are comparable to other places or less. Someone actually answers the phone when you call, and they respond very quickly. When I first contacted them our original propane company sold out to a large company out of state who didn't want small customers any longer. So they raked up our prices x3! Instead of the approximately $2.50 gallon at the time, they were charging almost $7.00 a gallon and would not negotiate at all. I Called Phoenix and within 2 days they were at my house, removing the old tank, installed the new one and guaranteed a good price. Excellent service and I highly recommend them!

They were very timely, and explained what needed to be done. This was my first time using them, and I felt that the price was very fair.

We were referred to them by the electrician that was installing our whole house generator and had trusted them to install a new 500 gallon propane tank for us. Unfortunately not more than a year later we realized the tank had not been installed properly and is now starting to tip over. When we contacted them to see if they could remedy the situation they said "we no longer have the proper equipment to lift/move the tank". I am now stuck trying to find someone that can help secure the tank properly which will come at a very high additional expense. If the tank had been installed properly from the beginning we would not be in this situation and unfortunately they are unwilling/unable to fix their mistake. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Phoenix has always been responsive, and its prices are half of what we paid another propane company.
