Glenn and team were response, diligent, and provided complete finished product. Glenn even came the weekend prior to do extra prep to resolve a water issue. I am not sure other services would have done that. I am very pleased with service.

Glen and his team were fantastic! They completed a thorough compacting of the driveway in two days have a very long driveway approximately 450 ft. They committed to starting on the 14th but said they would come as quick as they could I was trying to surprise my husband as he was out of the country for business, they started on the 11th. My job is supply chain. The good and bad of that is I always complete market research prior to getting any work done; I can't stand to pay too much for anything. By too much, I don't mean more than it cost , but more than it is worth. I respect business and understand and appreciate profit margins but despise people trying to take advantage of current market forces just because they think they can. That being said, I had already found the cost of asphalt per ton, other pertinent material, the cost of labor and the approximate annual amortization for the equipment needed for the job leaving room for the profit margin in the quote. I had 4 companies come out and the quotes were ridiculous except for Glen's. His was spot on and the work was professional and perfection! He explained the process and was very patient with my questions. Glenn is very down to earth and doesn't make the business feel like it is all business. I will post pictures soon but wanted to get this written as I think so highly of this company! Highly recommend!

Since I've moved to Oxford, Ct 7 years ago I've been considering paving my driveway which was called a "tar and chip" driveway. Over the years weather erosion has really deteriorated the driveway. I had several quotes from several paving companies but price and finances didn't match so I waited. After struggling to plow the driveway in winter and the last two storms we went through I decided it was time to invest in a new driveway. Again, I got a couple of quotes just to pave the first 80ft and before I decided I wanted to find someone as close to home as possible. I am a believer that we should support local businesses in your home town. Glenn Persson was actually recommended to my wife while she attended a local function.   I called and Glen came over and I explained my concerns with our driveway. He was very attentive and took all the necessary measurements. He soon called and quoted me the price which I and my wife thought was a fair price for the sized of my driveway. I even mentioned the price to my work colleagues and they were surprised by the quote. I ordered the work done and Glen working along with his crew completed the job in 3 days. My wife and I were very pleased and amazed at how different the driveway looks. Glen also properly graded it since we were having problems with water puddles in front of the garage area.  All I have to do is fill in some spots with new top soil to even out the lawn on both sides of the driveway.  He advised that we shouldn’t use the driveway for at least two days and to wait at least two years before we seal it.  Glen is a very down to earth individual and I felt very comfortable with his demeanor.  He could have tried to take advantage but I don’t feel he is that type of businessman.  Already, my neighbor across the street is interested in talking to him to do their driveway and I will recommend him without pause.

Overall I would give them a B+ Rating. This is a smaller mom and pop operation, the owner works at the jobsite, which is a good thing in my opiniion. He came out to give an estimate in the spring, then I sat on the job for the whole summer. I asked him to come out to re-visit the job at the end of summer and he came out the same day. He provided many solutions to my situation. Ultimately I picked them to do the work from 8 different contractors who quoted the job. They started in two weeks rigth when they said they would, and the job they gave me was decent. My only complaints were that I feel they could have waited longer between the base work and the final paving to allow the ground to settle more, they waited 8 days, most other people I spoke with waited 2-3 weeks. Also, my job required 2 trucklosds of asphalt. The owner drove one truckload in and was having the one delivered. The delivery (O&G Industries) was two hours late (which is not my guy's fault), and I feel the the guys would have done a higher quality job if they didn't have to rush because of this. Overall I am satisfied with the job and I would use them again.
