????? Two Years, $15,000 Gone ? A Charming Scam in Disguise DO NOT trust this company with your money. We issued them a $15,000 check on July 4th, 2023, with the assurance the job would be completed before the end of summer 2023. That promise quickly unraveled into a mess of excuses, delays, and broken commitments. By fall of 2023, we were told they couldn?t begin until April 2024. When we expressed frustration and asked for a refund, we were told reimbursement was not an option. Our only alternative? Downgrade the project. That was nearly two years ago ? and as of May 2025, we are still waiting for a quote for that downgraded job. Not a single ounce of work has been done. Do not even consider hiring Impact Services. Please save yourself the time and heartache: run a quick Google search on â  Don Mastersantiâ  and youâ  ll see he and his son have failed to successfully run any of their business properly. Fired and sued with their custom sign business. Charges against them with their snow plowing business. Now failing at being general contractors as well with tons of terrible reviews, a history of poor customer service, and looks like an arrest in 2021 for violation of home improvement contract requirements (the course case is happening March 2023, can see it on CTâ  s judicial branch website. They did the same to us, had us sign a contract with no end date, in violation of the CT home improvement act. They also never pulled permits with our town, we had to request that they do. They also would complete change order jobs without giving us a price quote first, and then named insanely high prices after the work had been completed. So far, weâ  ve given them $40K of our total $80K project and have about $15K of work thatâ  s been completed and none of the other materials were ever delivered. We had to fire them due to terrible communication, over promising, and always under delivering on every single aspect of the job. Our new contractor whoâ  s highly regarded said that of the $15K of work Impact Services did complete, the majority of it was not up to code and it all has to be re-done. Do not make the same huge mistake we did. Easy call: 0/5. Couldnâ  t recommend low enough.

Their quality of work is excellent. The crew is very pleasant and hard working. Also, taking pride in what they do. They're super flexible and work with you to get things just the way you like. I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

I hired this people back in February 2022 They took half of the money to build a garage which is $25,000 and I still have no proper fire wall installed, no electricity, no doors which I paid and they order back in February they took down my back deck stairs months ago I could not use my deck all summer and is still an hazard. I wanted to connect the garage to my kitchen so even if not necessary they took cabinets down. And I have floating kitchen cabinets everywhere.Thanks to Angy for asking me to write a review on this company. I will let you know soon how it ends.

Planning for the project was a pleasure. The owners Don and Joe Mastersanti are experienced builders, friendly and easy to work with. Impact Services uses skilled workers. The crew members were always friendly and respectful to us. Also Don or Joe was on site every day to manage their men and direct their work. During planning, They told me they had a great relationship with their suppliers. This proved to be true. This year the entire industry had problems getting lumber and other supplies. However our supplies were delivered on time and without a problem. Also despite skyrocketing material costs due to the shortages Don and Joe completed the project and honored their original quote, the end result was a project my wife and I were entirely pleased with. I was very impressed with the idea of the build and the choices that were givin to me. The lumber was delayed due to covid, but he let me know. as soon as the material was delivered they went to work and it was done very fast

I found the crew of Impact Services to be extremely professional in the performance of their duties. I would not hire impact services under any condition . Don & his son are dishonest , unprofessional & their work quality is horrible. They lied to me almost every time I spoke to them . I ended up firing them & having them removed from my property by the Milford police department. I hope this review saves someone the trouble of getting involved with this company.

The father and son team was hired to build a deck and patio in May, we were promised the job would be done by the end of June with the job starting in mid-June After repeated promises that they would show up to start the job, they finally showed up on July 13. They NEVER worked a full day and NEVER showed up when they said they would. If there was an Emmy award for excuses, Impact Services would have a FULL TROPHY ROOM OF EXCUSE AWARDS! They were typically unprepared with materials and did not have any foresight into planning the next step of the job. EXTREMELY frustrating - wish we had NEVER hired them and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Very impressed with the attention to detail and the overall workmanship. The weather didn t cooperate most days but Don and Joe pushed through and produced a beautiful deck at a more than reasonable cost. While the saying goes you get what you paid for, we got so much more.

The crew was quick, polite and did excellent work. They also stayed true to what work was quoted and the price of our deck rebuild. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Very professional, hard workers and get the job done as quick as possible without sacrificing quality. They stay true to their quote (which was very reasonable) and timeline. It was so cold out I worried about them getting frost bite but they put in long days working (and I do mean work, not breaks every two minutes which I wouldn't have blamed them had they took some breaks to warm up as it was so cold but they kept on working) and got the job done when they said they would. That deck is there to stay and I love it! Great job!!!

From the time they ( Impact Services) accepted the job, to the time of completion, they were: professional, honest, and on the ball. This father and son dynamic duo really worked well together in assessing the reality of my kitchen and floor project/situation, all while giving their professional insights on design layout options, providing me with various samples of design choices, and then executing my final decision to perfection. A number of things I really love about Don and Joe are: they kept the project within budget without cutting any corners, they made sure all work was up to CODE; in addition their attention to detail was very pronounced, and they cleaned up each time after the end of every day. Best of all... they left me and the family with a big smile on our faces at the end of the project; priceless. These are guys that truly cares. A Job well done.
