Empire Construction and Waterproofing is the best in CT! They were able to correct an unhealthy, mold-ridden situation - my garage had no existing drainage system. Mr. K and his Team excavated and designed a drainage syatem that completely resolved the problem. Mr. K is reliable and communicates well throughout the process. He and his Team were efficient and attacked the problem with sincere effort and determination. The project was carefully planned and executed in a timely manner. Kris was very knowledgeable in his line of work. Understanding what he can and can not do in CT and neighboring states. He and his team were very punctual. Thanks Kris for a great job. You went above my expectations. You even removed a small tree stub I didn’t ask to get removed. The rain storm we had that dumped more than 11 inches in an hour on the area washed up gravel from the driveway onto my lawn and pound. Water in our basement had become a regular problem. Empire Construction under the guidance of owner, Kris, installed a basement water system. Soon after we experienced a water issue and contacted Kris at 3:00 in the morning. He responded promptly and was at our house within an hour. After careful inspection Kris determined that the issue was different than the original one. Instead of water coming in from the ground, it was coming in from above. Kris spent hours investigating the issue and guided us in the right direction. Kris left 2 large fans to assist with the drying process and returned two weeks later to pick up the fans and repair a ceiling that he had removed to investigate the source of the water. Kris did not accept any compensation for the conscientious work that he performed and promised that he would always be there for us. Not many professionals have that kind of work ethic today.

Flooding in our basement has been a recurring problem over the years. Money well spent! A truly dry basement. We looked around and compared quality and costs! Empire was the best choice. Furthermore, they put the sump wells where the water goes at the base of the foundation! Not the top of the footing! At the top of the footing, we would still get water in the basement. They were professional experts, extremely knowledgeable, very and friendly! We had zero cleanup after the installation. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a water problem in their basement. Go with Empire! You won’t regret it!

it was great, Kris and his team were great to work with, they came in and got the job done quickly and professionally, they cleaned up every day before they left. If it wasn't for his team our basement would've flooded multiple times a year. We feel like we got our basement back, doubling the size of our living space in the house
