I picked Mary Adzima out of the suggested realtors that my relocation package provided. Mary had several certifications, and was a USAA realtor (which is a big deal for military people, since USAA have a "movers advantage" package that gives a bonus check back to the customer - almost $1000 for us for using a USAA approved realtor). We called Mary, and told her that we were from out of state, and that we were planning a house hunting trip the following week. Mary interviewed us over the phone and set up showings. When we arrived at the office, Mary greeted us with a big smile and sat us down to go over 10-12 properties that she thought we would interested in. then we went over the 30 or so properties that my wife and I had pre-screened on the internet, and off we went. We saw 8 properties on the first day, and 6 on the second. We found the perfect home and Mary walked us through it seemlessly. This was my third home, so I was not new to the process, but Mary made it seem somehow easier.
Description of Work: I used Coldwell Banker to find a new home for me and my wife, we were from out of state and had no idea of where to look or where to avoid. They scheduled showings, worked with sellers and other realtors to allow access into the homes, created and ensured all paperwork was filled out and filed as required. Discussed possible matches with other realtors to provide as many opprotunities to see homes as possible. Drove us to each house, and provided lunch on 2 seperate occations. Worked with seller to negotiate offers, counter-offers, and final offer. worked with Mortgage company and both seller and buyer lawyers to ensure everything is moving forward. Worked with buyers via electronic media (texting/e-mail/ scans/faxes, websites.
