Called them the day before Hurricane Sandy and asked they cut down a huge maple tree branch that was hanging over my house. Very responsive. Second time they trimmed two maple trees that were hanging over power wires. They cut exactly what we agreed and I was very happy. Third time they removed a dozen trees so I can plant a fence. Did job in one day. Thoroughly cleaned up yard after. Last year they maintained my lawn. Always very responsive, good pricing. I would never call anyone else for this type of work.

Overall excellent tree knowledge, service, price and professionalism. This is a family owned business of CT certified arborists and they seemed to go out of their way to make sure my wife and I were completely satisfied with their work. Joe and his father were very easy to work with and were very knowledgeable about the tree specimens on my property. I am extremely happy with the results and what I learned in the process about my trees. Their work included using a bucket truck to reach some very high limbs. When the work was completed there was almost no sign of them being on the property. All small twigs and leaves were cleaned and removed, all larger wood pieces were chipped and removed from the property. All of their equipment appeared to be in good condition and they appeared to observe all safety precautions associated with tree work.
I would absolutely do business with them again and have already recommended them to several friends and family members.
I am not normally given to writing reviews, but in this case I thought it was important because they really do good work and deserve credit for being a knowledgeable and professional company.

I live in a heavily wooded area. I have had services from the Ross family 4 or 5 times. These people are licensed arborists; they are well trained in treatment of sick and damaged trees, although they do the routine work that and quot;Tree Servicesand quot; provide. They are deeply concerned about tree health. I wanted much more trimming of a giant holly, but they explained that it would endanger the tree. No one at TreeWorks has tried to sell me anything. They could have charged me for treating trees that simply needed more water or sun.
Telephone calls and email are returned within 48 hours, but often the same day. Even when there has been no emergency, they do the work quickly after initial contact. I have never been overcharged. I would call no one else. These people are remarkable, and I trust them.
