There was a hole in my roof under a solar panel. I contacted Nutmeg Roofing who responded the same day and came to assess the situation. within minutes of first contact. This is where i first met Sonny who walked us thru the process that would be needed to make the roof do the job a roof should do. keep us dry and safe and animals out. i have dealt with various contractors, but dealing with Sonny was a different experience. Very matter of fact and no high pressure. A real straight shooter. . So we decided to use Nutmeg Roofing Prior to the team’s arrival, Sonny let us know what to expect, Today the team arrived and did the agreed upon work. The team was courteous and professional and very hard working., From the time they arrived to their departure every team member was doing their best to complete the job and did accomplish the work in one day!!! Nutmeg Roofing did an excellent job for me when no one else would. From estimate to cleanup, Sonny responded promptly, thoroughly explained what it would take to repair / replace neglected (and leaking) areas on both house and garage roofs, and followed through with great work that was on schedule and according to budget. Other contractors I called were only interested in whole roof replacement, which I cannot afford right now. Sonny offered a gradual replacement under terms I can realistically consider. Nutmeg is now my go-to - not only for roofing, but also for carpentry and masonry work. I feel lucky I found a contractor with compassion!

Will not give full itemization on job done, does not clean up after himself, overcharges compered with local contractors, changes version of communications based on his needs. Does not protect the homeowners value of their property.

Worked with Sonny after a series of storms caused water damage from my roof. Sonny came out quickly, performed the repair and even helped to work with my insurance company. Sonny put my families safety first unlike my insurance company (NatGenPremier), who was accusatory and lacked any concern about my issue (say goodbye to them)! Sonny has been in constant contact and is still willing to work with me depending the outcome with my insurance. I can't thank or recommend Nutmeg Roofing with any higher level of confidence! Great to work with!

I hired Nutmeg Roofing to repair areas of my roof and chimney flashing as it had sustained damage from wind storm and rain. They was very polite prompt, courteous and above all else.....let me talk and listened to understand exactly what my needs were. They provided an estimate promptly and was fair with me on the price. At my request he provided me with a 2nd quote with the option to make it less of a financial burden on me, which was more affordable. Their crew was steadfast, prompt, clean and also polite. They did their job and seemed to take pride in the worksmanship. I would highly recommend Nutmeg Roofing to anyone that has ever felt like or has been taken advantage of by a service company in the past.
