He was a great guy. He is very polite and respectful and did a fine job for the carpentry. He was highly skilled, it just took longer than anticipated.

I am extremely pleased with my home makeover.  He was the most reasonable of 2 others.

He is wonderful!  Perfect work!  I hired him to work for my elderly parents and couldn't be happier with his work and professionalism.

   When I discovered water all over the bathroom floor coming from my toilet, I called two local plumbers. One was on vacation, the other I left a message with. Not hearing back from them, I called yet another plumber the next day and left a message. (By the way, neither of them had ever returned my calls) After three days of waiting I then called Ron. He called me back within hours and came to my home promptly at the time he said he would. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it in the same day. He was very pleasant, courtious and helpful...and  felt his charge was very reasonable.
I have no hesitation in recommending him, and would call him again if I needed  to.

I was very happy with Mr. Owens' work.  He spent quite a bit of time on the first day trying to solve the leak and was genuiinely sorry that he did not fix it then, but he did not have the correct parts with him.  He did not charge me for that first day's visit.  On the second day, he was able to replace the flush mechanism and the leak was gone. 

He was very neat.  There was no water on the floor or anything out of place when he left - it looked a little better after he left then before he arrived because of the mess I originally made!

The only thing he did not do was replace the supply line, only because he did not have one with him, but I told him I would take care of that the next day.  However, he did call me the next day and left a message.  He was concerned about us using that toilet without a supply line and wanted to warn us that if we flushed, water would come out of the tank. 

Mr. Owens told me he does all sorts of house work - decks, gutters, powerwashing, etc.  I will definitely be calling him again to take care of some work that I cannot do.  His rates are very reasonable and he does very good work.   

It took much longer than I had expected, perhaps because he worked very methodically. He was very careful not to mix things up, but removed more than I had thought necessary. He applied finish paint without primer on raw wood.

Excellent service and professionalism. Will use again.

We saw Ron's work on a neighbor's garage. They suggested we call or talk to him and we did. He came over when he said he would, He submitted a written and very specific estimate and came in right on target. He did a nice job and we were very pleased.

I found Ron's name from Angie's List and called him. He called back when I was told he would. He came to the house, gave me a completely itemized estimate for parts and labor (not just the usual verbal estimate for the whole job like I'm used to), and once agreed upon, scheduled a time to start work. He showed up exactly when he said he would. His estimate for how long the job would take was right on and he worked with us to avoid any significant inconvenience to us. Whole job done well up to my standards (which are very high). I normally do my own renovations, mostly because I like the work to be done without the hassle of getting estimates, dealing with work not done to my level of expectation, no shows by contractors, etc. I would have no problem ever calling Ron to come back. Once you meet him, you'll know immediately that the job will be done well by an honest man. I give him my highest recommendation.

This has been a surprising and enjoyable experience. We have contracted with many people and I met Ron, walking down the street with my dog. We stopped to chat and he gave me his card and said he did just about everything you need at a reasonable and fair price. I simply mentioned our chimney needed repointing (mind you it has needed it for 5 years!) and I didn't know who to call. He came to look at the chimney and said he could do the work. While he was there and we were looking at the house he saw other areas that needed repair and it reminded me of a leak in the roof when we have high winds only. He did them all! The price was fantastic, and this all happened in two weeks! And the work was completed in 2 1/2 days. What I really appreciated his professionalism, honesty and the earnest desire to fix things that need it at a very reasonable cost and no negotiating. He provides a not-to-exceed price and more reasonable than I would have expected. Any time I have a problem or something that needs to be done, he will be the one I call first!
