Mark is very professional---and he has pros that work with him.   He is licensed and has years of experience---he gives you a contract   with start date , and finish date and he is exactly on time and gets it done on time even earlier. He is very knowledgeable and knows the building codes  and has practical sense  and gives good advice. He follows through and pays attention to details. You will get quality work. You might find someone who may be a little cheaper but you will not get the same quality of work.

Mark and his crew were punctual, professional, and fair.  Mark and his crew did an incredible job in spite of dealing with a difficult client (me).  The project entailed:
1) demolition of 2nd-floor hallway bath and adjacent large bedroom closet
2) creating slightly larger newly-renovated hallway bathroom, and
3) creating a small 2nd-floor laundry room.
Mark was very easy to work with, was a true perfectionist and was incredibly fair in terms of pricing, and dealing with unexpected issues that we had (such as a rotted sub-floor, plumbing relocation, etc.).   Mark allowed me to purchase all of the plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, etc. and was able to work with our schedule (which as times created some delays).  Mark never complained about having to reschedule carpenters, plumbers, electricians.  The end product is absolutely amazing and Mark exceeded expectations across the board for us.  We would highly recommend Mark for residential renovation work.

Professional quality installation and service from presales through cleanup.  Even had some wood rot replaced for minimal fee keep the cost on budget.

Mark is punctual, professional, has a great sense of quality and aesthetics. His estimates are accurate. The quality of workmanship is impeccable. His crew is a pleasure to have around (fast, neat, careful, polite). We have enjoyed working with such a reliable, knowledgeable and professional company and look forward to working together again.

Plonowski Building was a pleasure to work with, and Mark Plonowski himself was at all times professional. He was at the jobsite daily checking work and making sure everything was done to the highest quality. He worked closely with his subcontractors who are all excellent. He worked to get us the best cost. His suggestions along the way have, we believe, added value to the house and were consistantly an improvement over our own ideas. He listened and followed through every step of the way. I have to say that the entire job, which ended up lasting a year because of the scope, was seamless.

The job went very well.  He came in pretty much on budget, there was a few hundred extra dollars for rot and masonry repair discovered during changing the windows, but this was expected.
Mark has an eye for details and will point things out that could be improved (like missing trim) - but he's not really trying to upsell you, in fact in some cases it was the opposite (there were a few things he talked us out of replacing a few things that were still solid and could be reconditioned instead).
His carpenter Bert is excellent, very fast and tidy and like Mark he pays attention to detail.
Communication was excellent.
I plan on using them in the future renovations.

Didn't I already do this some time ago?

Workmanship was excellent and done on time. We were informed early of the cost implications of all changes. We are extremely pleased.
