Hired Advent Engineering for a home inspection. Absolutely amazing! Very detailed and patient. Took the time to listen and answer all my questions and additionally took the time out to educate me. Upon arrival he explained the process and allowed me to tag along during the inspection. Overall experience surpassed my expectations, something you don't see often. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! WORTH THE EXTRA $$$ EVERY PENNY OF IT! TRUST ME THIS THE GUY YOU WANT TO DO YOU HOME INSPECTION.

I hired Louis twice to inspect two different homes. Louis is thorough, well informed and passionate about his work, and protecting his clients. He takes his time during an inspection, refusing to be rushed by agents, etc., and he ensures that his clients understand what he uncovers about the home. I highly recommend Louis.

Highly competent and honest.

I never thought I'd say this about a home inspection but I had a wonderful time during the inspection last week. Mr Csak was very professional throughout the inspection while being so personable, answering all of our questions (and there were many!). His responses to our questions were very detailed and technical, if that's your thing. And if it's not your thing, Mr Csak would ask you "do you want the long or short answer?" He was very detail oriented and walked us through what were the high priority fixes in the property vs ones that could wait. He turned around the report within 48 hours and the report was very well written, had tons of pictures, easy to understand, and had clear actionable items. I also greatly appreciate him telling us that we're free to call him up with any questions pertaining to the property after the fact. One thing I would point out to future customers is that even though credit cards are technically accepted, Mr Csak really prefers Zelle/Venmo (which is technically cash). So be mindful of this especially if you need to plan out your cashflow when purchasing your home. All in all, I would 100% recommend Mr Csak for your home inspection needs. I definitely will be hiring him again for future inspection/consulting needs.

We hired Louis Csak to perform a structural inspection of a home we were looking to purchase in Oct 2022. Our last experience with home inspections (with a firm in Rockland County) was extremely poor and they missed several structural issues. We wanted someone certified in structural evaluations, and Mr. Csak came highly referred to us. Indeed Mr. Csak understood our concerns immediately and was extremely patient explaining what he would be looking for (and how) during our initial call. On inspection day, Louis was so thorough in his approach - explaining what he was seeing, what it could mean, and what (if anything) we would need to focus on or inspect further if we purchased the property. We learned so much about our house from this inspection. This was not a cursory check-the-box and move on type of evaluation; every area of the house was examined and detailed.
