I contacted this company for a quote. They came out and requested a deposit of 850 and another 850 to be paid upon the work being done. A few days later, after I paid him, he said he couldn't come out for 2 weeks to get the job done, but that didn't work for my timeline to sell my house. So I called him the following day to ask about getting the deposit back if I could find someone else and he said he doubted that I could find someone this time of year but if I could then it would be no problem. Well I did, and he refused to give me back my money. He kept telling me I'd get back half of my deposit even though he never stated this prior and has nothing written stating his deposity policy. He keeps telling me he lost a job holding my space (for all of 24 hours) and so because of that he's keeping half of my money. I gave nearly 2 weeks cancelation notice and there is no written policy on refunds but because I trusted another vet, I am out $425 cash. I will have to seek other avenues to recoup my money. Do not hire this shady individual! He will not state his business up front and hold your money ransom! It could have been a simple "our schedules don't line up" but instead he's a crook!
