+ -1 moreEverything went very well. High and low $$ estimates were provided within a week of contacting the company. Work began almost immediately and was finished within estimate and on time. They arrived on schedule, were respectful of our daily routine and property. Cleanup was excellent. (Part of work done was complete painting of the great room in our condo, including the ceiling. There wasn't a drop of paint on anything when we came home and the entire area was done in two days without inconvenience to us.) When I needed something changed, it was redone within a day and without extra expense. Design suggestions were made and even though I consider myself a talented decorator, Thor has significant ability and insight. Having had many bad experiences with contractors in the past working with Décor Home Improvements was truly a great experience.
Description of Work: Work included multiple renovations including extensive wiring changes and additions, sheet rock, painting, installation of entertainment system, 3 ceiling fans, and window blinds. The estimate was the lowest with no markup on materials; in fact, the owner/contractor (Thor Colter) actually passes on his contractor discounts onto customers. The work was artisan quality, which is almost unheard of these days, and I recommend to anyone needing ANYTHING done around the home, office, or apartment complex. I learned about Decor Home Improvements from a relative who had major work done including a large addition, extensive tile work, balcony, and huge multi-level deck. I was extremely impressed with the quality and innovation especially in the bathroom suite. We will use for any future work without reservation.
