The serviceman took a look at my mileage (65K) and a very brief look at the tires and told me he could repair the tire with the leak, but otherwise I needed to buy new tires to replace the remaining tires.  I explained to him that I replaced all four tires at 30K miles with tires that were to last 60k miles, so I shouldn't have to worry about replacements until my mileage hits 90k.  He said that TFT would not be held responsible if I continue to drive on "legally bald" tires.  I told him I'd consider replacing two but not all 4.  He replied that if I didn't replace all 4 at once, they couldn't be held responsible if I lose control of the car in bad weather.  Well, I had the tire with the slow leak repaired and got the heck out of there.  As a woman, I often feel that salesmen  try to oversell me on expensive automotive repairs because they're taking advantage of my lack of expertise in this area.
