TLC TREE SVC

I normally obtain 3 or more estimates for large jobs like this and while all the companies I contacted were very responsive and competitive, TLC tree was able to meet my needs better.
I had several large trees along the property line which needed branches removed and a few trees which needed to come down. There was one particularly large hickory trees with a damaged trunk and some leaning oaks which I did not want to remove and was seeking advice as to how to keep them.
Toby, from TLC tree was able to provide an option to bolt the damaged hickory trunk as save the tree. He also provided advice which allowed me to keep two leaning oaks in place with some removal of branches.
Overall, TLC seemed to be the one company interested in helping me save my tress while others were more focused on taking them down.
Service was prompt, professional, and clean-up was well done. TLC tree left me any branches over 3 inches in diameter and even cut these up into fireplace length so I could split and use for burning.

A detailed itemized estimate was provided outlining what needed to be done. The work was completed in a professional and thorough manner All debris was removed and the yard was neat and clean after they left. One of the trees was particularly challenging to remove because it had several large limbs hanging over the roof of the house. It was removed with no damage at all to the house. Originally, I had planned only to have that one tree removed, but Toby (the owner) explained why the other trees were a hazard to the property and recommended the additional work. I appreciated his attention to safety and his knowledge about trees and their health. His prices were in line with other estimates. I was totally pleased and will use this company again for any future tree work.

They do routine trimming on our condo property. We've been using them for a number of years. They also do our routine spraying on the hemlocks and the treatments for the flowering trees. The trees looked like they weren't going to make it, but by keeping up with the spraying and deep root fertilization, they are looking healthy and beautiful. He is a licensed arborist and really knows his trees.

They came out and provided and estimate, and when I accepted, they came about a week later and finished all the work in half a day.

They did the tree work, cut the oak to the size pieces requested, chipped all the rest of the wood and cleaned up as if they had never been there.

I CALLED THEM, THEY CAME AND GAVE ME A PRICE, THEN THEY SET A DATE WITHIN FIVE DAYS. WHEN THEY CAME THEY TOOK IT OUT, CUT IT UP, AND CARTED AWAY EVERYTHING. I GUESS FOR THE JOB THAT WAS RATED THAT WAY.
