Description of Work: I had a broken lamp. I brought it to this firm. While the owner could not fix it himself, he did recommend someone who could (and they did). I was really happy with his approach and his ability to say "I can't do it, but I know someone who can." That's rare these days. I'd go back to him just based on that alone.

+ -1 moreHe knew exactly why and he was very knowledgeable. He was able to fix them in 2 days just like he had promised and at the lower price quoted. They were very kind and professional. I can't say enough great things about them. It was very refreshing to do business with a place like this.

+ 0 moreThese guys are amazing. If you want a lampshade, they can make it happen. It may not be cheap but I really don't think they're taking advantage -- custom lampshades are just not cheap. Also, one time I brought a little lamp from Target in to find a shade and amp; they directed me elsewhere as the options they had would really be too expensive for what I wanted to do … so, honest.

Description of Work: Talked to Bill Langton who runs biz with son and family. Wanted to repair a crystal chandelier but it was too big for Bill's layout. He gave me another contact with whom he had 100% good experience. If Bill can't do it, he will tell you. The courtesy and help is rare in Fairfield County, CT but Bill delivered.

+ -1 moreI took my old shade into Ye Olde Lamp Shop to show what I wanted. I had a black shade that went with my gold lamp. They were able to order a new shade and match it perfectly. I received my new shade within a week.
