They came, they fixed it; however they didn't do a good job and they had to come back a second time for the bathroom. When they came the second time there was another small, five minute issue to fix elsewhere. They charged me for a full hour, as well as for a second trip. Ultimately they did refund me, but it was a large hassle.

They were expensive. They're basically the same as everybody else but then they charged $50 for coming out. It's ridiculous because nobody else charges to come out. They didn't do the job right the first time. They had to come the second time. They're very nice and they're very responsive but they didn't do the job 100% the first time. My interaction with them was fine. They had me buy an additional fixture which I didn't need.

They are reliable. They work quickly and efficently, and do the job right.

Have been meaning to write this review since service was provided in summer 2014.  Contacted Silk after my current Nuvien service person could never seem to fix the problems I was having.  I was a new customer but Silk was extremely responsive, coming to my house the very next day, arriving on time, and took a very methodical approach to diagnosing the problem and performing repair in most cost effective way.  They were concerned however, that my unit (a Nuvien first generation model) was defective and committed to seeing me through to a solution.  When the unit failed, they provided a temporary fix (at not charge), immediately contacted Nuvien for me, worked to obtain a replacement unit on rush, and provided the necessary documentation to obtain the new, 2nd generation unit as a warranty (free) replacement.  They installed the new unit 2 days later--quickly, neatly, professionally.  This is a 3rd generation, family-owned business with expertise, honesty and integrity.  They have earned my loyalty--and they will earn yours too.

Silk came out to look at a pipe the gas company assessed to need replacing. I guess it was not the right material and needed to be replaced with copper. They gave me a quote and came back the following week to do the work. While here, they cleaned out my shower drain that was clogged. Great service, bya professional crew.

Service gents arrived on time, performed beyond expectations and at a reasonable price. My water heater was repaired. It did not need replacement.

I called Silk Plumbing on a very cold New England Saturday morning as my house had no heat. I called prior to their opening and left a voice message explaining the the central heating was not working and the house was getting very cold. Silk Plumbing called back within an hour, and they showed up at my house by 9 am. They identified the problem, went out of their way to find and secure the broken part, installed the part, and had my furnace working by 1 pm. I have had other major plumbing jobs completed successfully by Silk Plumbing since I lost my long time plumber of 30 years two years ago. I have never been let down by Silk Plumbing and have come to rely on them for all my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.

Although the process to get a service appointment was long and slow, the personnel and the work performed were superior. They completed the job quickly and on -budget. I would definitely use them again!

The two old toilets that came with the condo had seen better days. Silk arrived on time, brought everything needed for the job, and was finished in no time. The plumbers paid careful attention not to knock over anything or scratch any surfaces. Very professional and efficient. I could not be more pleased. The office staff were helpful and quick to respond to any inquiry. I am a repeat customer with Silk because they do excellent work, are well established and correctly identify the problem where other plumbers I tried have failed to do so. I rate them as outstanding.

Fabulous. The guys from Silk are always professional, courteous, and explain what they're doing. Our guy came a bit late but was apologetic. He told me what he was doing every step of the way, was thorough in his tests to see where the leakage might be, and asked before walking through rooms in his boots. Felt very comfortable that he solved the problem.

Very professional and quick to respond. Cleaned up after they were finished. Would use again and recommend. Mike and Geronimo were very friendly.

Silk was extremely professional and responsive when I called. They came to replace the hot water heater the day after I called. Their technicians arrived exactly on time, completed the work in the time frame they indicated it would take, and other than the new hot water heater, I would never have known they were here. I have used them multiple times over the last several years and have always been extremely pleased.

NOT ONLY WERE THEY GREAT WHEN THEY CAME OUT, BUT THEY ARE GREAT AND TRY TO HELP YOU OVER THE PHONE. EVERYBODY I TALK TO ON THE PHONE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. OVERALL THEY ARE REALLY GOOD.
