"Thank you [Member Name Removed]!"
"Thank You [Member Name Removed], we are glad you chose us and look forward to working with you again next season."
"Thanks for this positive review. I hope you get to enjoy your renovated pool for years to come."
I have had to replace the motor a few times (mechanical issue and not service related). Rick Pinto Pools responded quickly and got the pool back in working order in no time.
A few years ago, I resurfaced the pool and deck area. Rick Pinto Pools completed the work on schedule and within budget.
Again, I couldn't be happier with their service. Best part is talking to Lenny.
"Thanks again for the positive review. Your loyalty for 10 years says a lot about the level of service we provide for all of our clients. Lenny also enjoys hearing from you as well..!"
"Thank you for this nice review."
"Thanks again. We look forward to many future swimming seasons together! Enjoy your newly renovated pool and patio..!"
basically because I am shocked by the negative review that I saw here,
and felt almost duty bound to refute it.
Just this year, Pintos?s group, after opening my pool and vacuuming
out all the junk that had gathered over the winter, discovered that there was a
cracked/ruptured return line within the wall of the pool itself, basically
rendering my entire filter system inoperative. Rick sent over a team that
had to remove al the stone paving around the skimmer system, dug about a 6 foot
deep hole to expose the side wall of the pool and the filter line, severed the
faulty line from the skimmer, spiced in a new return line, buried THAT in a new
trench that they dug running to the filter system? and managed to do it all a week before
Memorial Day Weekend (clearly their busiest and most hectic time of year).
I have been a customer of Rick Pinto Swimming Pools for a
number of years, and have ALWAYS found their work to be excellent and fairly
priced? This job was no exception?.If I felt otherwise, I would have found
another pool company long before this.
Somewhat of a do-it-yourselfer, I have called Rick with a
problem, and he has told me what I could do to fix it myself if I wanted to
try. Sometimes I did, and sometimes the
task sounded a bit too daunting, and I let him do it.. The point is that most
pool outfits would have blown the job up out of proportion, sent someone over
to fix it, and then send me a huge bill (trust me, it has happened to me in the
past). It?s nice to know that I am dealing with someone honest who is NOT
simply interested in generating a work ticket and an invoice. I have come to trust him so completely that I
have given him the code to my garage door so that he can get into my house to
have access to water lines and stored equipment if he is going to be coming
when I was not at home.
Built initially by Shoreline Pools, my pool was a REALLY
complex system that combined a hot tub/Jacuzzi with the pool itself, hooked up
to a sand filter that NEVER got my water clear.
Pinto replaced the sand filter with a DE filter, replaced a bunch of the
valves, motors and levers of the manual system with a programmable Jandy, and
the system ran beautifully and effortlessly, with the water looking like
something that you would pour out a Poland Spring bottle.
.His people have always shown up when he said they would, and
he has always been clear about when different jobs could be started, and how
long they would take (I also had him replace all the decking around my pool
when they old decking started to crack badly).
Granted, I do NOT know all the details of what happened with
the person that slammed him in this other review, but I suspect that the
problem is with him, and NOT Rick Pinto Pool Service. It is not unreasonable to expect to have to
wait to start a major job well into the beginning of a very short season.
If you want EVERYTHING done and finished on your pool on
Memorial Day Weekend, you need to start making arrangements for it more than a
week before the holiday (I know that I try to make my plans sometime in Early
March to avoid the rush.. My pool gets opened in Late April to Mid May each
year)? As the saying goes, ?If you snooze, you lose?. My pool season is important to me, and as a
result, I try not to be the guy at the end of the line.
More important is the care of the pool itself.. and after
dealing with big pool companies as well as small ones, I can?t imagine what
would make me go elsewhere.
In my opinion, this guy?s outfit is tops.
This was my first year using their service and I found them here on Angie's List. When I called for information, Rick Pinto was the one who came to the house to look at my in-ground spa. He quickly showed experience and knowledge in working with this type of residential setup. My spa is typical of many so there were no big surprises.
His price estimate was in writing and the billing matched the estimates exactly; no billing surprises.
The 2 guys who came to do the work in the Spring to open the spa and in the Fall to close it were very professional, clean and much more professional than the last company I had here for service.
I will certainly expect to stay with Rick Pinto for the coming seasons based on this initial experience.
