From start to finish, Frank and his team made this a smooth and pleasant experience.  Initially Frank came by and dropped off an estimate for the project but I could not be home at the time.  His estimate was very competitive compared to the others I had received. He also provided a full page of references that included addresses where they had completed other work in the area. This was very helpful in making my decision as it allowed me to go see first hand the type of work I could expect. This was a very big job for us so before proceeding I wanted to make sure I met Frank in person to walk the job site and make sure we covered every detail.  He was very responsive and even offered to come out on a Sunday afternoon to go through everything with me in person.  After providing Frank with the deposit he estimated a 4-5 week time frame based on his current jobs.  
To our surprise we were contacted about 3 weeks later and told the job could start sooner than expected.  Frank and his team showed up right on time the day work was supposed to begin and they went straight to work.  It took approximately 3 days to regrade the existing base (gravel) and install the Belgian block border and then half a day to do the actual asphalt paving.  I can't say enough good things about the work this team did.  They worked efficiently, they were courteous, cleaned up after they had finished working each day, and most important to me they were meticulous and made sure everything was done exactly as promised.  I would highly recommend Frank Piro and his crew to anyone else looking for paving work.  I spent a lot of time researching other companies and satisfied to know I chose the best in the area!

Piro gave us an estimate in April, we accepted the estimate in May, and we scheduled for the end of June.  The estimate was not the least expensive, nor was it the most expensive.  They showed promptly to begin work about 8:00 Friday the 21st of June, and were quite efficient about removing the old asphalt.  The old surface removal and grading was done by late afternoon on Friday June 21st, and paving was scheduled for Monday June 24th.  The paving started Monday morning and by early afternoon they were packing up.
Throughout the whole process we were informed on the next steps and how things were progressing.  Piro told us how to care for our new driveway and gave us tips on keeping it looking new.  The crew worked tirelessly, although due to soaring temperatures they were forced to take a few breaks.  I made sure to offer them cool bottled water to keep them hydrated!
I was very pleased with the end result, I would love to work with them again.
