Our dissatisfactions and concerns have to do with the poor quality of the finish work, and the myriad ways in which they disrespected our property and plantings, and the mess we were left with following their work .
Examples:
- debris and trash piled in our front yard at their first visit, which was left for two weeks (even after notifying the owner)
- wood chips, shavings and sawdust strewn throughout our garage, where we gave them shelter to work on a raw and blustery Nov day
- rock, dirt, gravel, concrete chips and paint drippings dumped and left among our perennial beds.
Lastly:
When I coordinated an on-site follow up with Kevin (owner) to review the work and provide him the balance of the service fee, he acknowledged our concerns and "promised" -- since I was not withholding payment -- to return within a week to address some of the issues.
We are still waiting.
I would not recommend him for continuation with Angie's list of reputable providers. And while he is a personable and engaging transplant from the Lone Star state, he does not do Texas proud.
