They did the work in an incredibly efficient manner and pricing was competitive and by packaging new roof, copper flashing, gutter and screen upgrades we are set for the decades ahead. Excellent. Workers were prompt, efficient, hard working and cleaned up well. Steve was responsive and timely with all communication.

First did a quick patch to fix missing shingles and replace and enlarge vents and realized the roof was in need of a complete replacement. Team came right away and replaced the roof quickly, 2 days total, one day finishing up in fairly heavy rain. Walking around the property today it looked completely clean, wanted to check because I have little kids and sometimes construction workers don't tidy up well and the lawn looked perfect. The roof looks great and is supposed to last for 20+ years so hopefully we won't need to see H & J again but would recommend them to others

The work was excellent. Steve's communication was stellar throughout the process. Steve answered many questions throughout the process thoroughly to help us understand the work. The tea doing the work was great, the work was completed on time and was good craftmanship.

Steve got back to me the day I emailed them, he came out to estimate the work to be done. Price was right and knowing they have worked on my roof before I trusted them. They showed up on the day and time I was told. Their guys were friendly and work was neat and they cleaned up after the work was done.

We are extremely pleased with the work done by H&J Roofing on our roof and gutters. Steve visited us to discuss our specific needs and gave us a thorough education on the materials he would use, and the meticulous cleanup process his crew would use during the job. Steve was professional and courteous and responsive to our follow-up questions. I had gotten four quotes for this job and the price difference from the highest to the lowest around 15,000. While H&J was not the lowest, I chose them because Steve conveyed a lot of thoroughness and pride in his work, and took the time to make sure we understood the whole process. Plus, H&J had already done a few roofing jobs on our block, and having spoken with neighbors and seen the work firsthand, I was confident in our decision. Steve delivered on his promise of fine work, done in a timely fashion, leaving no mess behind - just a beautiful new roof and new gutters.

Work was made difficult by lats spring snow but H and J handled it with no problems. Would definitely recommend to my friends. They have the right equipment and manpower to get job done in a timely manner.

I had two sections of roofing on my house that were leaking. One area had been previously repaired by a supposedly reputable guy 5 years ago. When it began to leak again, he would not return my phone calls! H&J came out immediately after I contacted them to give an estimate and was available immediately to do the repair. And their work is guaranteed. I would hire them again and recommend their service.

Crew was well organized and thorough. They arrived exactly on time and got right to work. Cleanup after the job was extraordinary. It was a big roof, but the job only took two days. The next day three of my neighbors stopped me on the street to exclaim that they could hardly believe the work had been done that fast.

Steve recognized the issue right away - that the caulking would dry out and without any flashing below the problem would come back.
