Handyman Service
They came in on time first day and covered the items discussed. But the handyman didn't do a good job in cleaning up after he was done. The replaced shingles were just disposed off around the garden...not big deal as those were wood shingles.
The second day he was late and was told that he was shopping door and other materials for the job and that time is included even if he asked for markup on the door. The self closing door hinge that he got didn't work, but again no big deal. In fact, happy that didn't do it.
I was expecting to get 10% discount as offered on Angie's List, but I was told that it didn't apply for the special block rate I got.

Mike did an excellent job. We wanted to repair, rather than replace, our fence and gates, and Mike gave us a quick, detailed estimate, and did the work within a few days.

We have used a lot of contractors over the years and had never found one who did a satisfying job, even though our requirements are not high -- we simply expect the contractor to finish the work on time and with good skills. Mike truly sets himself apart from anyone else we have used: he is punctual, professional, careful, cheerful and did a great job for our son's room. I would ask Mike again in no hesitation and actually wish that I had found him years ago!

Flooring
They were very sloppy and unprofessional. We had a problem with the flooring. It is very difficult to contact them. We have been calling them afterwards and they never called us back. All I want from them, was to come and check it out, but they never attended the call. I would not recommend them to anybody. Their price were competitive with others. They left my place with a mess and they broke some of our furniture. They said that they will take my carpet away, but they never did and they lied to me. The quality of the job was not good. Most of the molding that was done came out. They came very late.

Mr. Giordano told me he would put me on his list when it came time to clean the gutters after the leaves had fallen and he did. He then came and cheerfully cleaned all my gutters and it was pouring rain! I am very impressed.

Mike is terrific. He was always on time, worked quickly, did excellent work, cleaned up after the job. He made helpful suggestions about work that should be performed. His prices are very reasonable. I've used Mike on two separate occasions and will use him again as the need arises.

Mike was recommended to us by another contractor who could not fit us into his schedule. Mike is an excellent carpenter. He is honest and easy to work with. He'll be doing more things for us next month.

On short notice Mike showed up and did some carpentry for us. Prompt, competent, fast, reasonable; good work, good guy. Part of the solution, not part of the problem. It's good to know someone reliable in the area.
