Mattera and Daughter created a new outdoor space in an area that was previously used for an an old above ground pool that had past its useful life. The firm, headed by Orlyna Mattera-Starr, designed the new space that included a large patio, natural stone sitting walls with passive lighting, landscaping beds with extensive plantings, a new exterior rear entrance from the house, and new walkways leading to driveway. Her crew also demolished the old pool and disposed of the materials and prepped the site for the new landscaping. Their work was transformative! Today we use the space whenever we can for our own pleasure as well as entertaining family and friends. We get compliments all of the time from folks who experience it for the first time.

Orlayna Mattera is great to deal with.  She is easy going and transparent.   Enjoyed working with her through many projects.  Orlayna has a good eye for landscaping and your overall needs.   Somestimes it is difficult to get on the calendar since she is very busy, so I recommend calling her as far in advance as possible.  Her crew is professional and easy to deal with.

1and gt; She possesses incredible vision for designing hardscapes for our Estate. She is extremely detailed in explaining her vision and makes you feel that you're inside her brain! LOVE IT!
2and gt; Her prices may be in the higher middle to high, but let me tell you as I've learned first hand: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I know someone who hired another company CHEAPER than me and a year later, had Orlyna come to completely demo the job and start over! You get what you pay for!
3and gt; She's not a nickel and dimer. She's a really wonderful lady.
4and gt; The quality of work isn't comparable to any other's I've seen. She and her men are TOP NOTCH!
5and gt; The team is prompt, efficient and gets the job done in weeks!
We plan on hiring her to install sod and pull-up/replant with new specimens in the spring of 2015. There is NO ONE else we'd trust!
