We could not be happier with our new driveway. We had some major regrading to do, including a drainage system and the leveling of a large area where the initial builders years ago buried tree trunks etc. Chris and his team were incredibly efficient and professional. I actually can't believe they did our driveway in a few days. The were careful not to disrupt our irrigation system which had many heads along the driveway and they landscaped perfectly around every area of the grass that had been disturbed. We had at least 4/5 people quote this job. We liked Chris before we even got his quote. We liked him even better. Amazing work and a great price. Thank you!

Chris was very knowledgeable and totally explained what was necessary for the driveway to be properly set on a correct base and how they would make sure it was pitched correctly for the water to run off. They delivered on time and on all counts. They even added topsoil next to areas where necessary to have the area blend in smoothly. The crew is very able and friendly. All work was done quickly and professionally. Chris and crew also gave me a great price to power wash and repoint our large brick patio including replacing an area of crumbling brick! Would give 6 stars if I could!

After watching our driveway fall apart after 10 Connecticut winters (and a lousy paving job), we made the decision to repave. Simply stated, this is a process fraught with uncertainty as you are really purchasing blind and there are a vast number of businesses offering paving services and you have no ability to really judge or control the â qualityâ of what they do. Knowing that I would be doing this in the Spring of 2020, I began my search for a provider about 9 months ago and interviewed well over a dozen firms. Some gave a price, but never sent a written proposal or followed-up. Measurement of my driveway varied from 7500 - 9500 square feet. Of note, some of the vendors just walked away when they realized they were dealing with someone who had done some research and had a general understanding of the process and actually knew the size of the property. Fortunately I had the good luck to find F & G Construction of Norwalk, CT. I first met with Chris Sillo, the owner of the firm, to scope out the job. Chris is every inch a professional and a gentleman. He spent a significant amount of time talking with me about his approach, my project (7500 square feet of paving which jibed with the majority of measurements) and scoping out the job. In short order I received his proposal (which was in the middle of the range of all proposals) and, after thoroughly checking him out, I decided to hire F & G. I confirmed with his office (Klari Sillo - who was very helpful throughout our project) that Chris would be on the job (she said he always is) and personally overseeing our project. The contracting process was simple and efficient and representative of how easy it is to deal with F & G. Day 1. They arrived promptly at 8:00 AM, set up and went to work removing the old driveway. This continued thru the day and was completed at dayâ s end. Day 2. Chris and his crew worked on prepping the driveway and getting everything perfect for the main event. This included reorienting the entrance of the driveway into our courtyard to eliminate trucks hitting/bouncing over our Belgium block entrance as they drove in. Just love the way this now looks. Day 3. The crew arrived and began working on paving. There was an impressive amount of equipment and men on the job (all days) and they worked as a well-oiled/coordinated machine. Everyone had a job to do and they were meticulous in their process. Chris was visibly supervising everything as well as hands-on himself. By early afternoon they were done; packed up and gone leaving with us a fabulous new driveway. Botton line is doing this project with Chris and F & G was a pleasure. He is, as I felt from the outset, a gentleman and a professional. Everything went exactly as promised and agreed upon, with no surprises. The driveway looks absolutely beautiful and they left our property exactly as they found it: in pristine condition. In summary, this was the best kind of home project: on time, on budget and what we expected - and more. My wife and I highly recommend Chris and F & G and think anyone undertaking a paving project should consider them for the work. Thank you Chris and Klari Sillo.

Chris was a pleasure to work with. Our driveway is long and needs to have a specific pitch in order to have the water drain correctly when it rains. He did a great job, that we can really appreciate after today's heavy rain. They are not the least expensive, but they are worth the price. Very satisfied

The did a great job with replacing the home asphalt driveway. There was a little misunderstanding on work start time but once that got reaolved it was smooth sailing. Costs were reasonable.
