Dave did a great job on both pieces. I thought the stains would never come out of the coffee table because they were so deep. He told me that he would strip the top of the table and try chemicals to remove the stains. He contacted me and advised that because the stains were so deep that he would have to sand down the entire top of the table. He did that then matched the stain to the rest of the table. It came out great! You would never know anything had been wrong with it. As far as the antique table is concerned I can't believe how good it looks. The table has been in my family as long as I can remember. Dave told me it is made of white oak and dates back to about 1910. He took the table apart completely and stripped each piece. He didn't stain it but coated it in tung oil and put it back together. The table is now stronger than when he took it away and it looks just beautiful! I recently got some new furniture and it is mostly golden oak. The antique table now fits right in with everything else. Dave did a wonderful job for a very fair price. He also picked up and delivered at no charge, and he actually charged me less than the estimate.
