SCAM!!!!!!SCAM!!!!!!!!!!SCAM!!!!!!!!they had the nerve to add the overflow and waste and they know that was not y I am unhappy and disgusted!!!! Taylor knew she wasn’t going to be able to work on my furnace and still continued to install the thermostat and then charged me and said the company and herself didn’t feel comfortable working on it because it was too old …I mean it was the same furnace she looked at to begin with …she should have known then that it was too old 429.00 for a thermostat. I did not sign the completed paperwork. I called the receptionist wouldn’t give me her name or the owners name she refused I threatened to write an honest review and she hung up on me and would not take my calls She had promised to adjust the price until I threatened to write a review and she hung up and have not contacted me back Taylor was not transparent and I didn’t appreciate that She also quoted me 6500.00 to replace a water heater of course with all the bells and whistles. Home Depot quoted me 1550.00 with all bells and whistles with a 12 year warranty!!!! Have a great holiday A-Team

"[Member Name Removed], the entire story: When we came out, you did not have a thermostat on your boiler. Taylor, who is very well loved by all our customers, stated that she suggested you replace the boiler since it is so old and it was starting to decay. You told Taylor that you only want the thermostat installed to get the boiler to start working again. Taylor informed you that we can start by adding the thermostat, but it's no guarantee, you agreed. When the thermostat didn't help, Taylor informed you to contact an electrician due to the fact the wiring going from the thermostat to the boiler was all wrong and needed new wiring. You then spoke with me who I stated to let me talk to Taylor and we will just charge for the thermostat and her time installing it and troubleshooting. You agreed and then gave us a bad review immediately. We never gave a $6500 price for a Water Heater. So sorry you were so unhappy with us with your waste and overflow install. Taylor has amazing customer feedback and I'm surprised you didn't have the same experience as everyone else!"

I guess you can not give no stars. I had a water heater leaking on Sunday night, called them they made sure to tell me that the emergency fee was $199, then when the technician got there they would not go in until I was made aware of the additional $185 diagnostic fee if I did not use them for the work. I agreed then I was quoted $4000 to change the water heater. Technician could not explain why it was going to cost me that much money. I declined the service obviously. Owner then called me 20min later apologizing saying they have a new software and it is not working properly and the technician was just going by the number software popped out and they were supposed to talk with him before any work was done. He also gave me at that time a reasonable fee to do the work but at that time did not trust them. Not sure if that software story is what they say after trying to take advantage of someone who would pay the 4k. Seems like a predatory business model. Do not use them please. I asked them to waive the $400 fee they were charging for being blackmailed and they refused.

First, the emergency fee and diagnostic fee were given to you before we even came out so you were made aware of that before the technician was even sent out. The technician gave you options and yes the pricing was high and I immediately called you personally to apologize and make things right for you, and you decided to go with another contractor. The technician made a mistake, it seems like you are crucifying her for it, it was an honest mistake and I caught it and made right. You can see from all her Reviews that she is one outstanding plumber. There was no blackmail here on our part, the blackmail was stating to us that either we waive all the charges or you were going to give us bad reviews on all platforms. Our reputation stands for itself, again sorry that you were not happy and wish you luck moving forward"

UNETHICAL!! they came and charged me $400 just to show up. Plumber could not install the sewer pump he brought so they sent a manager the following day. INstallaion was shabby and left job not properly done. WHen I called back to have someone come back, office staff stated I had to pay extra, I have already paid over $900 for the badly done work!! STAY AWAY FROM THESES PEOPLE

"Ma’am, your pump was installed properly and we offered to take a look at it at our next appointment, which you refused. We also informed you that the piping for the pump in done incorrectly and needs to be fixed in orders for the pump to work properly. Because you called on a recorded line, I will say that you called our office and screamed and betrayed our office staff which is unacceptable and we don’t tolerate. We could not get a word in while you sat there screaming, which again is on a recorded line. To recap: the two year old pump that you supplied for us to install, was installed properly, but your piping has to be fixed in order for it to work properly."

I have been helping my elderly parents who live in Milford. They had numerous plumbing problems that had not been addressed over many years. I called A-Team Plumbing and they amazed me!! They were friendly, quick to respond, and they did an EXCELLENT job. In the second floor bathroom, they discovered the problem was old iron drain pipe clogged by corrosion. They carefully removed the floor and installed PVC replacing the old pipe. Price was very reasonable. They then installed a new toilet in the half-bathroom on the first floor, replaced the galvanized pipes under the kitchen floor, and tied the deep sink in the laundry room into the sewer (previously draining into a dry well). The crew was friendly, polite, and VERY hard workers. They are the only plumbers I would hire. Excellent job A-Team!

Excellent Job A-Team!!! Super fast and Covid Safety observed! We had a major mainline pipe emergency and they came within an hour or us calling (on a Saturday night) and started working on our problem. Came back the next morning at 8:30 am (on a weekend) and saved the day!!! They replaced our pipe section, left the basement clean as a whistle and prevented us from a major pipe burst. All of this and they were also reasonably priced. I highly recommend the A-Team and will be using them in the future. It's so rare to find this type of excellent service, honesty and professionalism and in break-neck timing! Thank you A-Team (Manny)!!!!!

I thought $185 for the service call was surprisingly high but agreed to it. But then it turned out that's the fee for just walking around: I was shocked when they informed me that it was an extra $300 to cut open a ceiling to confirm the problem. The quote for fixing the problem seemed extremely high to me and involved unnecessary work. And indeed, after getting more quotes, I found someone who charged me ~75% less to fix the problem than A-Team's quote! I also didn't get a chance to use my Angieslist coupon with A-Team since they said it would be better to apply it to fixing the problem (before I knew I would find someone else).

It was a lot of money for the work they did for my 89 year old mother. It was paid with her social security money. I thought they did senior discounts.

"We are sorry you were not satisfied with the price. This is the first we are hearing of this. Our scope of work completed at your mothers home was: Supplied and installed new Wolverine brass round white toilet and new supply lines. We also snaked out the lav drain in the same bathroom. We found the flange and plywood under the old toilet was bad and you okayed us to replace with new plywood and new steel flange. We do also give senior discounts - 10% off up to $50. If you don’t let the office know, they wouldn’t know to include it in the invoice. I wish you would have informed us of these issues so we can handle."

Had Manny out to quote pricing for conversion of my electric range to propane and replace some toilets and faucets in my home a week before Thanksgiving. After getting pricing squared away Manny had his team out within a week. His team (Tony and Andy) was amazing. They arrived promptly on the day as promised and by day 2, all of the work that needed to be done was completed. I couldn't be happier with the results. Manny and his team were consumate professionals. Needless to say that if I ever need any future work done I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

Although the plumber replaced the fill valve inside the toilet, it still doesn't flush properly. I think I should have just bought a new toilet instead.

Very quick response from “Office person” to schedule the first visit on the following Saturday, just a few days later. The plumber (Andy) arrived on time, wore a mask and was professional and friendly. Promised to contact me after checking a plumbing supply store and did so following Monday (2 days later). We decided to purchase our own faucet etc, so therefor called and scheduled for the work to be done after we had received our ordered supplies. Had the work done on the Friday, about a week after first visit. Two plumbers (Andy and Tony) arrived within 30 minutes of scheduled appointment, did the work in a few hours and cleaned up really well afterwards. We are very happy with the result, and would definitely hire again!

Did not do the job. Charged me an extra fee to come to my house due to the distance. Once here said would not flush tank as its too old. Basically got paid for nothing. Highly unrecommend.

They arrived on time and had to old tub out and the new tub in the same day. Everything worked great. The installer put the wrong faucet and drain in but they came back after the holiday and replaced it. They did very solid work. Would hire them again.

It was a sewer problem but Manny gave it a great try. He could have just said it was the sewer and it would be a lot of money but he asked if I had insurance with water company which I do. Sewer work was covered. I wouldn’t have remembered about insurance if he didn’t remind me. Good man. Honest man.
