The contractor dug up the driveway. He waited several days as the sidewalk was completed before driveway was. When he started driveway , He misjudged the size of the driveway and didn't have enough asphalt, so had to come back the next day. He returned, but he still didn't bring enough asphalt, so where the driveway lines up with the sidewalk was not level, which led to a tripping hazard. One of the workers came to house and told my wife that they were finished. She had to tell that if he left it like that we could be sued. He had to go and get more asphalt. When I came home I not saw many issues; asphalt all over the grass and patio, and garbage left in the yard and damage to the side door frame. There was also several areas that have a gully and puddles formed when it rain, tire tracks in the asphalt from machines used, and some of driveway is not smoothly paved with a rough appearance.

Well, Dylan had a tough start to the project when he was taking the digger off the trailer. The rear axle on the trailer broke and if that wasn’t bad enough, you got the digger up in the driveway to start digging, and a belt broke on the digger so we had to go and get a part for that but once he got going, he was persistent and got the job done. He had to do some of the digging by hand because he could not reach it with the digger but overall, Dylan was a nice guy and did the job and did the job alone.
