Sanitrol Septic Services LLC

We have been using Sanitrol for 20 years, and it has just come to light that they have been over billing us every time we have our septic tank cleaned. After reviewing all of our previous invoices, we have been invoiced for the cleaning of a 1250 gallon tank, when we only have a 1000 gallon tank! We have confirmed with the East Shore Health Dept. and the Town Hall, who have confirmed that we only have a 1000 gallon tank. We approached the owner with concern about the continuous over billing and was and still are very disappointed with the response.. we have still not received the over billed charges?? When asked if this is the way he conducts his business, he alleged he had no idea of the over billing and preceded to blame the drivers? I can see a mistake once, but for 20 years this has been going on. I asked how many of his thousands of clients are also being over charged if he had no knowledge of this? There was not a positive answer.

When I set up the appointment, Maryann indicated that an 8am appointment could work. I asked if the technician would be late to call me which he did at 8:20am. He said he would be at our home in 20 minutes. Since that would not work, he rescheduled the appointment for later in the afternoon which worked for both of us. I was happy that things worked out.

Jose was thorough and did an excellent job while snaking our drains He cleaned up and we were very happy with his work.

It wasn't until he gave us the bill that made me go into shock. It took him about an hour to complete the work and the bill was $520.00. I had a coupon worth $15.00 so it ended up costing me $505.00.

When I first spoke to Maryann, she indicated that if the problem was with the main line to clear out, it would cost me $265.00. Since that was not the issue, I thought that doing individual drains would be less expensive and possibly based on a hourly rate. Not so. I was charged for each drain that was snaked. I am not familiar with how this works with the cost because it is the first time I had this done. There were no parts involved, just labor.

If I need this service again, I will be sure to get a price up front. For a hour's worth of time, the price to me was very steep.

Prompt, friendly, cleaned septic system, reported results and left yard in good shape. Would hire again.

They are very good. We used them about a few months ago. They pump up my septic system. They are reasonably price. They know where my septic system is. They are easy to call. They are just easy to do business with – a convenient company. They are very good. They don't try to sell anything you don't need and just all around good company.

The technician arrived for appointment promptly. He did a good job, being careful to explain everything visible on the screen as he moved the remote scope through the line.

It was fine. Since it was an emergency, it was very helpful to get the response that I did. I knew the person that came out, and I felt very comfortable. I really appreciated that the person who took the initial phone call was really very sensitive to my situation and talked it through with me. She was able to arrange the appointment based on what my needs were. It was an emergency, but it wasn't a dire emergency. It wasn't that I didn't have a bathroom. I have another bathroom that I could use. I couldn't use the kitchen sink, so they were sensitive to that. I asked them to come out immediately, and they were able to come out the next day, which was fine with me. I really appreciated how sensitive she was to what I was asking for.

Sanitrol responded promptly to our need for emergency services, they were prompt, reliable, courteous and helpful.Work was performed at my mother-in-law home next door.
