Mr. Burn's was very nice to speak with on the phone for an initial estimate and was able to provide estimates and answer questions very easily. The work was completed on time for just under the quoted amount and seemed to be well done. I would use and recommend Mr. Burn's company in the future without hesitation.

I have used Ken Burns Electrical on two occasions and each time the electricians show up on time (almost to the minute promised), do the work properly and efficiently, and always explain what was done. I will use them for all my electrical needs.

He is great. His people came on time and were very professional. We knew what they were talking about. They did high quality work. It was exactly what we asked for. Sometimes when it comes to things like electricity or plumbing, I don't really know what I mean. They were good at telling me what I meant and what I wanted. They were fair about when they could do the work and what was involved in it. I guess they came out when they said they would. They took care of the work right away.

Ken arrived on-time to look at the job and provided a written estimate within a day of when he visited. Once we scheduled the work, two electricians arrived with Ken. Ken showed them the work that needed to be done and left them to complete the work. Ken came back after lunch time to check progress and make sure everything was going okay. The guys were neat and organized while they did the work and they left no dust or dirt behind after installing the ceiling fan and bathroom fans. They did a great job and I will use Ken again the next time I need an electrician.

Although all electricians are very busy these days, he called back quickly and we set up an appointment for the following week. His men showed up right on time, were polite and professional at all times. They worked quickly and performed meticulous work. Then they cleaned up completely. Great service!

We knew the hurricane was coming and had the generator, but didn't have it installed. Ken's crew came out and installed it for us the day before the hurricane was set to hit! We've used him for other things in the past, and have always found him very professional and reliable.

Ken Burns responded to my initial call / voice mail message within a reasonable time and provided an electrician and apprentice the day after his call back. The electrician and apprentice replaced a dimmer switch, trouble shot a miswired three way switch, replaced a split switch and installed a circuit / cable run (20 feet) / oulet in my basement. The workers were courteous and professional and completed all the work in about 1 hour 30 minutes. I was very pleased with the service and price and would recommend Ken Burns to anyone who needs electrical work.

We left a voice mail describing what we needed, and our voice mail was returned the same day and even with an estimated cost range ($200 - 300).
The Technician, Will, arrived exactly on time and we showed him what was needed. He was very professional but friendly too.
I completed everything so quickly and efficiently that I was amazed. All of it was perfect.
Then the price came in at the low end of the estimate and it was very reasonable.
I recommend them without hesitation. The were very responsive (something I don't always see these days), the work was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and Will arrived on time and was very professional, helpful, and friendly.
I couldn't ask for more.

Ken Burns Electrical is out of Newtown. We did not know him originally when we hired him. My husband and I lived in Bethel and we hired him to do some electrical work and we have continued using him and I wouldn't use anybody else. Everything was done really nice and he put in heat cables on the roof because of the snow and damage that we had and they certainly do help out. He just did the electrical work on my porch and the building inspector was here and I asked him did he want me to turn the lights on and he said that he knew Kenny's work and I don't have to worry about him, he's a good electrician.

It was fine. He is a local electrician in town. I had gotten other estimates and his was a little lower. It was good quality work and they were on time. I had no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely use them again.

On a Saturday, I had a worker repairing wallboard in my garage. He discovered an electrical mess of wires,left by the previous owner, behind the wall board. He wasn't licensed to do electrical work so he had to stop what he was doing. I called Ken Burn's and he suggested an appointment the following Monday but I work, so I asked for someone right away. He took a couple of interns (apprentices?)off a job and sent them right over to my house. They cleaned up the wiring, got it to code and installed a light switch . I was grateful and didn't even ask the price. I figured it would be high. Ken Burns is a well known electrician in our town. I thought $208.00 was on the high side but it was well done and done quickly.

Ken is completely professional. He shows up when you need him and he is thorough. The team always cleans up completely and makes sure that you are satisfied. The quality of the work is without question. My only complaint is that he is a bit pricey, but if you get a firm estimate, he will not deviate from it.

IT WAS A GOOD SERVICE. THEIR PRICES WERE A LITTLE HIGH. THEY CHARGE FOR JUST SHOWING UP AT YOUR DOOR, AND THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT. THEY WERE FINE AND ACTUALLY GOOD PEOPLE.
