It was years ago. They did a beautiful job, absolutely gorgeous. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were just phenomenal. The stairs and the railings are beautiful. The workmanship was excellent. They came in and they put stairs to the new addition that went to third floor. They did the railings from the first floor to second.

For the most part, they did a good job. The main thing was the installers did a pretty decent job of installing but we had put in brand new wall-to-wall carpet. It was raining so instead of doing the cutting outside under the deck, they did the cutting inside on the carpet with those crappy tarps. We ended up with some sections of the carpet with 4 to 6 inches of sawdust piled on the carpet and it took us several hours and several vacuuming to get it out. They didn't come back and do anything about that big mess. We had to clean it up ourselves.

Very professional. Came and measured requirements and discussed work tasks. Installer came a week later and reviewed work. One day installation. Only negative is that they did not haul old stairs away (although he did take them out to the garage for pickup).

The job was done other three days by one individual (7:30am - 3:30pm first two days, 7:30am - 10:00am the last day). He cleaned up after each working session, though they didn't dispose of the old stairs which are now by the side of my driveway. There was one snag in the sizing of the prebuilt materials that he competently determined a solution, and I'm really happy with the results. I think I'm more amazed that he really didn't seem to take any breaks for the entire working period. There wasn't any talking through the plan of what he was going to do (unless I asked pointed questions), but when I did he was more than willing to walk me through what he was doing. And I certainly appreciate his willingness to work on the stairs without requiring the removal of the drywall ceiling beneath them. That saved me the headache of finding someone to do that (and paying them), or the time to do it myself. Please note that they don't finish their work with a stain or polyurethane - someone else is needed to do that (this was known going into it). I can't wait to see how the new stairs look when they're all finished!
