Our neighbor’s driveway has just enough of an incline that when it rains hard, the water washes down across our backyard. Over the years the soil has washed away and now it is a big step down from the stairs to the ground. We started talking to landscapers earlier this about how to solve the problem. One of the landscapers we spoke with was Stonehedge Landscaping & Garden Center in Newington, CT. Stonehedge came out to look at the problem and noticed that our fence had a Durham Fence sign. Turns out the Stonehedge and Durham Fence have worked together before. Stonehedge had actually done the landscaping for a 55 and old community not far from our house. We visited the community and the landscaping was very nice.
Stonehedge worked with us to answer all our questions and presented us with proposal that we went with. We met Dana Woods (Stonehedge) to view samples of pavers, granite steps, rocks, planets etc. He spent time with us and made several recommendations. He was very easy to work with. When it came time to deliver the landscaping his people arrived on time, cleaned up afterwards, and even took some stuff to the dump for us. Our yard is not easy to work in as there is not enough room to bring in any kind of machinery and the work all needed to be done by hand. It turned out beautifully.
Our backyard looks better than it ever has before. Pavers that are guaranteed not grow weeds, 2 big granite steps, a nice rock path and shade plants all along the fence. Stonehedge was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them
