They were outstanding and I had no problems.

Went smoothly. Arrived on time. Very clean and made sure floors were covered before moving. Very experienced. Two disappointments. 1. Wasn't clear that cost would also include an hour of travel. Considering how close they were to both locations and that wasn't disclosed upfront was a disappointment. Just make sure you are clear upfront on costs. 2. Found a piece of furniture that was damaged. It was obvious someone had attempted to take apart to move easier but instead of asking about they instead damaged it. It wasn't a big deal but wish someone had just come clean that they had damaged it. Maybe over me a slight discount. All In all it was very positive and I would recommend them.

It went well considering we had alot to move and it took 1 1/2 day's rather than 1 day.

Don't hesitate to hire these guys. Accurate estimate, they know what they are doing. I have no negative comments, unusual for me. They started on time, and ended about when they predicted. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Ray came out and gave us a quote about a month before our move. He was professional and informative and his firm came highly recommended by our realtor. We gave him a small deposit to confirm the dates.
Ray and Ron (the owners) and two other great guys arrived at 8am each day with their boxes, packing paper, tape and sense of humor. They divided up the house, treated each item with care, and soon we (and our boxes) were settled in our new home. They reassembled our beds, dressers with mirrors etc.and left us in good shape and high spirits. As I later unpacked my dishes, stemware etc, I appreciated the care with which they packed each item, large and small. The boxes were carefully marked so we could prioritize our unpacking by room and general contents.
Moving is listed among the top 10 most stressful events in life. After 24 years in our former home, with many great memories of raising our children, (and with boxes of their unsorted grade school papers and art projects) it was certainly difficult for us. But with the moving in the hands of organized professionals who became part of our family for 3+ days, the actual move itself was easy. I am happy to strongly recommend R and R Relocation to others.

This is the second move for which my husband and I have hired R and R Relocation Specialists. They are awesome beyond words!!! Seriously, if you are moving within Connecticut, HIRE THESE GUYS. Their prices are more than fair, they are very professional, they are punctual, and they work their a**** off. For both of our moves (September 2010 and our most recent move in September 2012), we hired four guys. Both of our moves were pretty big jobs (about 8-9 hours each time). They rarely take a break, and are just about constantly moving. None of our stuff was damaged during either move, and you can tell they take pride in doing the job the "right way." They are friendly and easy to work with, and they give free in-home estimates prior to your move. Our estimates were very accurate, so we were able to budget accordingly. One thing my husband really liked about these guys is that they know what they are doing, and have TONS of experience. These are not some college guys working a summer job. These are experienced movers. (During our most recent move, the "least experienced' mover had 20 years experience.) Moving is such a pain, and I really hope we don't move for a very VERY long time. But you'd better bet when we do, we'll be calling R and R Relocation Specialists again.
